I've already posted this dude, good price though.

Have you played the beta?

Multiplayer is fun and good team work if you play with some decent players. Single player looks awful (other than the Kane videos!), it's basically unscripted skirmish battles on symetrical maps.

no worries, it's good as a reminder for people. Play the beta and read the comments on my thread for a few tips.

I played the beta they have ruined the game.

I think the best C&C was still the original; the engine for C&C 2 was too clunky, and C&C 3 suffers from too many balance issues (as well as being too fast paced IMO).

I'm curious how they have made C&C 4 worse? (unless your non-disclosure agreement prohibits talking about it?)

No base building other than a few defences, no tib harvesting other than collecting the odd crystal for upgrades. There's a unit cap of about 15 units (50 command points). That's why people don't like it.

I quite like it actually, the tib collecting is much more rewarding than just setting your harvesters about their work. You actually have to manually collect the tib. Lack of bases means you're much more mobile and can help others in a fight or retreat much more effectively. Unit cap means you only have a relatively small squad to maintain so it's about having fun and making use of what you've got rather than having to control a massive empire of 100 units!

The beta closes in 5 days so if you wanna play gotta get in soon!

Oh dear, I just watched a few of the beta gameplay videos on youtube.

Not sure i'm even interested enough to play the beta for free, let alone pay money to buy it. :?
Given that I bought all the previous titles, I think that's a sure sign EA have phucked up *again*.

PC gaming is dead, and EA killed it.
Long live PC gaming!

I still play Tiberium Sun now
