While it is a good price, it's not a deal, as it's been this price for ever and a day.

Any you can play the latest C&C game for free anyway: … Any you can play the latest C&C game for free anyway: http://www.commandandconquer.com/free/

This was the single worst bit of news I heard this week. I've been looking forward to Generals 2 for a long time and was very disappointed to see it going down this micro-transaction based 'free-to-play, pay-to-win' payment model. I'd much rather just pay for the damn game and have everything available, and know that everybody else is the same. for an RTS this model just seems broken.

I hope your comment was just for general information and not a reason to not buy this pack, seeing as how Generals 2 hasn't actually been released and is only going into Beta testing soon... so you actually CAN'T play 'the latest C&C' game for free, not for a while yet. Generals/Zero Hour in this pack however are very much real and great fun, though if you haven't got or played them by now you're probably not going to, and those games are the most likely reason to buy this pack. everything else is just a little old now.

This but I just hope it doesn't go pay2win. It could still be a pretty decent game

I won't be getting generals 2 either, useless to me without campaign/SP.

Couldn't agree more. I have no intention of playing with randoms on the internet, only with friends, which means waiting God knows how long for everyone to actually buy it. If there is no single player campaign, as well as single player skirmishes with AI opponents, I have little desire to play it at all. It doesn't matter how gorgeous the damn thing is going to look (which it is) if the game styles aren't what I want. It's actually tragic how this has turned out.
not a bad price but it's been this price for ages. definitely worth £7 though just for the 2 red alerts, generals and the original in a form that works on modern windows pc's. i bought it to compliment my original versions and can do multiplayer between my desktop and ;laptop (with a friend obviously)
Good deal, the series went downhill after the games in this pack
I bought this from Game last year for xmas, and moved in jan, and lost the box, only have DVD-s. Any chance i could get new key for it?
Make the most of the days where you go to a store and buy a game as they soon will be over. A great shame..
If only the C&C series were still as good as the first dacade, awesome games, recommended!
The best of the C&C games, but I also love C&C3, Kanes Wrath and Red Alert 3. C&C4 is where it all went horribly, horribly wrong (though the cutscenes were very well done). 'Command & Conquer' will be the death of the C&C franchise unless the backfire is so bad that EA apologise for this gimmick and make Generals 2 like they promised.

Yeah, League of Legends is just a gimmick, isn't it...
Great price but I have had real problems getting most of these to run in Windows 7 64 bit, especially generals, which I still havnt managed.
the 2 red alerts were a pretty big chunk of my childhood. amazing games.
Can you play Red Alert 2, Tiberium Sun etc online still?

Spent many a hour back in the day on Red Alert 2, what a shambles C+C 4 was
They all work fine on 64bit for me, it's one reason why I got this even though I had most of the games anyway

Try this, it's worth having anyway:

This, this, this. A thousand times this. I was absolutely crestfallen when I heard this news. I'd already pre-ordered C&C: Generals 2 as well. I just know it's going to be worse now. What about offline LAN? Isn't that what Generals is all about? That and the awesome Generals scenarios and campaign.
Have some heat, bargain for 12 games!.
