How many of these work on Win 7? Looks like a cracking deal. Some of them are free now though.

Was wondering the same. This would be great on my W7 netbook.

I got Red Alert 2 working on Win 7 64 bit just fine the other day, rubbish resolution on my 24" monitor though
You can get some of the others for free as well as they were released at as freeware a while back.

Red Alert 1 cncforums.com/new…135

Was trying to get RA2 working online so I could play a friend with a rubbish PC but the online is borked now, so better off going for C&C3 or RA3.

If I remember correctly, for Generals & ZH on Win7 (for 64bit at least) you just need to 'run as administrator' [properties > compability] otherwise the main menu will be static and it will crash during a game at some point. Twilight Flame still memory leaks.

Good price, but standard for GAME/Gamestation/Gameplay, they rotate the price between the 3 every so often. I picked 2 copies up in the past 18 month at this price.

I have this and I have a few problems with 1 or 2 of the titles. C&C and C&C Tiberian Sun I had problems on vista and 7. But there is a unofficial patch to fix them.

This is worth it just for Generals! I've spent waaay too long on that game in the past...

As I posted here previously

news.bigdownload.com/201…es/

3 of the games in the series have been released for free as UberTiger has only posted 2.

I still play Red Alert 2... There are online servers around too - and the game works fine with vista/7

Running Red Alert 2 at 2560x1600 and it's great fun. Like a whole new game again!

They should all work perfectly on win 7. The compatability mode is excellent.

Nearly paid £5 just for RA2 the other day so thanks for the heads up on this.

I've had this for a few years and played through all of the games on Windows Vista 64bit, so there's a strong chance they'll all work on 7 as well. I actually still had the original disks for C&C and Red Alert, but although those games are Vista compatible, the original installers won't work on a 64bit operating system, so I had to install on an old computer running Windows XP, then once I copied the files over to Vista x64 it worked fine. But on this compilation all the games have new installers, so they're compatibile with newer OSs!

As someone else has already said - XWIS. The original Westwood servers were shut down years ago, but now there are third party servers running. Just Google XWIS and use that!

This is a really hot deal - I got it a couple of years ago for £9.99, which was also good. You should be able to pick up the rest of the C&C games for pretty low prices these days as well.

Good games shame the last 2 efforts Red Alert 3 and Command and Conquer 4 have been dire though.

Yeh GameRanger looks a lot better than dodgy XWIS...

Many hours spent years ago playing C&C. Thanks

I've never used GameRanger. When I went back to play Red Alert online after a few years and found the Westwood servers were down I Googled for help and XWIS was the first and, at the time, only solution. Minutes later I was playing online and it's always worked absolutely fine. Please to explain what's dodgy about it?
