aldi mince pies 6pack dated 25/1/17, 3 boxes for 90p
They actually do that as well.
No heat no cold as this is another members only shop. We have been fortunate enough to shop at the CS ever since it was known as Marrens at Tankersley. It is now virtually a superstore. There really is bargains galore of 'surplus products' but beware, just because it deals in 'surplus products' doesn't mean it's all cheap. Some alcoholic drinks seem quite expensive for example, but other stuff is ridiculously cheap. You have to know your supermarket prices. As for six yogurts for a £1, Heron regularly do them at this price. They often even have freebies like bread. They are now charitable too as they have set up two 'Community Shops' for the less fortunate in disadvantaged communities. At the moment one is in Goldthorpe, the other in London. According to the CS blurb they are saving 30,000 tonnes of food going to waste. Apparently there are currently 270,000 tonnes of edible food in the supply chain that could be redistributed to feed people. They are tied in with a Tesco & Fareshare & have generated nearly £750,000 of charitable funds that have been donated to charity. It is obviously very profitable & growing. There is a very successful Internet company called Approved Food where we can all buy from - internet only tho'. By the way if you clear your fridge & freezer out regularly because the sell by date or best before date is up - don't apply. Non fussy, realistic, bargain shoppers only please.
Seems mental that some of this couldn't go to food banks etc - seems to be massive amounts of cash spent by people who have large disposable incomes already... boasting about saving £50 per week on shopping when some folks don't have this...
Haha, try reading things properly before commenting...."pal".
Saving £50 a week on shopping allows you to do more of you life changing experiences as you call them. Pal.
