I just ordered this laptop from the Hewlett Packard web site after reading all the spec on the laptops available via Hotukdeals and other web sites.

The HP web site price is £ 399.00.

I typed in the code RUDOLPH at the checkout for 10% discount making it £359.10 (only available until 3.12.10 so be quick).

After 3.12.10 it's only 5% discount using code HPQUIDCO

I also went in via Quidco and it tracked at 8% discount ( £28.72) meaning the laptop will only cost me £ 330.38 when Quidco pays out.

This is all fine, lots of ram and the warranty is worth the money, but do remember that the processor is quite weak.

Soooo sllllloooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

V120 is single core Sempron. Link below is dual core Athlon, so much faster processor & @ £349 - 10% - 8%, best part of £50 cheaper as well!!

h40059.www4.hp.com/uk/…ect

No 2yr warranty/ no HDMI but @ under £300 can live with it. Mine arrived yesterday & its superb for the money.

Not worth the value as it's not dual core. Not a good deal at all.

The AMD V120 only has a rating of 662 on cpubenchmark.net. I just bought an Acer laptop from Argos Outlet with an i3 350M processor with a rating of 2,059 for £301 (using a code). Okay, that is refurbished with a 1-year guarantee so it depends what it more important to you really (speed or warranty).
