A bit specialised but a few musicians here. 7 Large sample libraries shipped on 1 TB hard drive to use with the play vsti sample engine, you can mix and match other libraries in the bundle if you like. Each library costs £290 shipped alone on multi dvds. I've converted the Euro 712 price.

EW-179: Symphonic Orchestra Gold
EW-171: EastWest/Quantum Leap Pianos
EW-182: Symphonic Choirs
EW-176: Quantum Leap Goliath
EW-175: Stormdrum 2
EW-174: Voices of Passion
EW-181: Quantum Leap RA

Quite cheap when I consider the price for JV 1080 sound modules and other gear years ago.

Link goes to front page now.

Its here I think : Link

Dunno whether to go for it, its quite cheap for what you get really and I spend a lot more years ago on gear with 16 meg sample sets.

Maybe change to ministry of Rock

Blimey, you don't see sample libraries often on HUKD.
If it wasn't because I'm broke and have 4 of their titles already I'd certainly consider it.

Arcana should I go for it ? I'm unsure of the quality of their Play engine.

Would probably swap a few components for Silk and Ministry Of Rock cos I dont need more pianos.

Great find.

And really wish I could buy it, but my credit card just ran away from me. It's Taken a bit of a battering the last few weeks

Well, to be honest I've only really used RA a lot. I am really an electronic composer so all this fiddling with articulations is not my thing. I have ministry of rock and while it's not bad you can get individual guitar, bass and drums libraries which are overall better. You'll end up paying more though.
I haven't tried Silk but it does sound fantastic judging by the demos.
Stormdrum 2 is also something I'd like to have.

I personally haven't had problems with the PLAY engine but I don't really max it out - usually just use 3 channels per tune.

If the question is : "do I get a lot of quality content for my money" then my reply would be "you bet".
