oooops.....think I must have hit the 9 instead of the 0!!! Sorry. That's what I get for rushing. Thanks. Reviews look quite good overall for this too.

Good deal , ordered to collect .

Nice find, wanted something like this for next camping. Heat!

Thanks I have just reserved one, really good find.

Ta mate... good find! HOT!

Usually pay around this much for stove on its own!

I have definitely seen this set at Halfords for £59.99 - when we looking at camping equipment last year. It was £59.99 or £29.99 if bought with a Tent pack.

Think the £24.99 must refer to a previous 'special offer' price, during the time stated.

This is well worth £15, but it was never worth its original price of £59.99!!

thanks op have some heat

Hot

got one of these stoves from go-outdoors for £7.00 there all the same just different branding.

not very good for cooking on, ok for boiling some water or camping on your own but not the ideal stove. also the gas dont last very long and costs about £10 for 3 containers

in the long run and if you go camping a lot or there are a few of you, cant beat the camping gaz double burner and grill set up that use full size gas bottles

Edit just looked at halfords site, dont waste your money on this get something like this instead

cheers, will give it a miss then

might seem a stupid question but does all that fit in that ruck sack (a) when its not in use & (b) when all the tubs are full ?

just picked mine up, Great deal!

richp, it all fits in easy. The containers are all inside each other like russian dolls, but I reckon you could fit them all in seperately as the rucksack has an outer section too.

Thanks OP

You still haven't fixed the title though have you?

Picked up one of these on the way home from work tonight - nearly bought more at this price. So glad I didn't pay full price in the summer (I so nearly did), which by the way was £50 at the time and the offer was half price (£25) if bought with a Halfords tent package. For £15 this is HOT. All fits into the ruck sack with ease when packed so should all fit when being used. Does not come with gas, but that's pretty normal. I intend to use the hob as a spare only, but would suit a small trip/weekend away and is probably worth the £15 on it's own at full price anywhere else. Pan set is actually not bad either, and have seen these at £10-15 on their own as well. Plus in-store Quidco. All-in-all quite pleased with my bargain. Thanks to the OP. Heat added.

Two on order

Done it now - only just worked out how to (changed to £15). It would seem the £25 was only on offer when purchased with a tent. (_;)

thanx

Just collected mine this morning , ideal for the price .Remember ,having something like this at hand in the event of power cuts in the extreme weather we've been having . I'm all electric ,so in the event of a power cut [we've had one just a couple of weeks ago] we had no means of heating hot water or making a meal .

They *are* the same as other brands which are cheaper when bought alone. But this is a set including tools, pastic boxes and a frying pan. Although the "extras" are fairly cheaply made versions, £15 is a good price for these - I have this set myself that came "free" when I bought a starter camping pack from them and all are still working.

Look, if you want to cook a 3 course meal in your tent then this isn't the best stove to pick. But if you're an occassional camper who wants to boil a kettle for a hot drink or fry a pan of bacon then it's fine. And you get the pan as well. It's even handy to have in the house as an emergency.

And if you're paying £10 for 3 gas canisters, you need to change where you shop. Asda had 4 for £5 in their seasonal camping stock and that isn't an unusual price. One canister will last several days of kettle-boiling and bacon-frying duty.

Thanks for that helmethead. I'd not thought about it as an emergency kit which is a damn fine idea with the recent power cuts (and probably more to come). I have a gas cooker but still couldn't get it to work when we had a power cut not long ago and so I'm going to get another one now before they go out of stock purely for that reason. (_;)

(_;)hi its me i will vote this hot i have 2 on order and will pick them up today good value for the money
