Be aware that there are still audio sync issues with this set.
Just finished the box set. Despite being killed off & finishing somewhat unresolved, I thought Deadwood was excellent drama with some truly world class profanity!

Only on one episode, slight audio sync issue. Small price to pay for otherwise excellent series.

Make sure you get a newer set. I ordered this three months ago and got what was obviously a re-seal (the blu-ray cover was wrinkled - a dead giveaway). The audio was terrible, sync problems everywhere. I gave up and ordered the Australian versions in the end. Shame more care was not taken on the mastering of these.

Past. Not passed. You should never judge a show on the pilot episode. This is a superb production. Watch it for Ian Mcshane’s delivery of his meticulously written dialogue.

It's "McShane's" delivery, but other than the grammatical error I fully stand by your point.

Excellent. It’s not in my autocorrect. You need a comma after “error”.
Why so defensive? Wouldn’t you rather know?

Not true... I absolutely could've added a comma there, it probably would've helped the flow... but it's fine without. All good!

I beg to differ because you’ve used “other than” beforehand, so you’ve referred to something else, reverting back to the original context would mean you’d require the comma.

In publishing, you could entirely make that argument (though it's an argument at best). In a forum, where we use text to mimic dialogue, "chat", it's an entirely different game. We still have a duty to try and make sure our language makes sense enough to read, but I'm happy with exactly how I left it. I appreciate the chat though. I'm back off to the day job now, sadly. Have a good one.
