Complete Sky Sports Pack for £15pm - £270 for 18 months (retention deal)

I phoned their upgrades team and managed to negotiate this deal.
All 8 sports channels were normally £27.50pm but after some haggling and threatening to leave (as Now Tv’s Black Friday deal was cheaper at £16.60pm) they offered it to me for just £15 a month for the 18 month contract

Good haggle :-)

I've been offered it for £20 I'll call them tomorrow and try

I can’t see how this is a deal, you might as well say ‘ring Sky and see what you can get it for’.

Was offered full sports and movies a few weeks ago for £13 per month. Turned it down as even though it was cheap - I ain't got time to watch it.

The Now TV deal is a good one - especially when you can watch on two boxes simultaneously, not necessarily in the same house...if you share it with someone, then £100 a year each is not bad at all..:-)

Only thought I’d post it in the hope that someone else was also looking for the sports so that they don’t go full price. I figured the extra cash is better off in their pockets rather then Sky’s...

Still not as good as talk talks. I now pay £28.45 for all sky sports, phone line and Internet. Barter, barter, barter

I think this is an old trick a lot of people do to get their bill down. I do the same with the annual "Let's put your car insurance up and hope you can't be bothered to question it". Not so much a deal as its not guaranteed others will get the same offer, but its worth a try if you haven't already.

That's a pretty standard deal - I renegotiated mine last month for £13.75. You caved in too easily me thinks

Disgusting.

They offered me same with no contract tie in. Still waiting to leave but can choose my time!

Why not tie into a contract ? - if you get a good discount ? Lets face it it isn't going to get any cheaper . I was happy to get it on an 18 month contract , I'd have had 5 years if they would have given it .

Remember a rolling contract works both ways , they can stop your 50%- 60% discount at any time they choose with 30 days notice as well as put up the base price . Ok on an 18 month contract they can put up the base price (in which case you can opt to leave without penalty) but the 60% discount you have remains for the duration of the contract .

Do you really think you can negotiate a better contract ? That subscription prices will fall ? Am I missing something or is it becoming an Urban myth that a rolling contract is best ? Can't see it myself

Was back in August before the season started but I'd use it as a bargaining too

I tried this but I am currently paying £52 a month for original with Sports pack but had no luck the lowest they would go was £39.99

Then go for the £199 sky sports offer on a now tv box. Within 5 months you're making a hefty saving, add any extra you have and you'll still sav

I have the Full Sky package, Variety Bundle with Box Sets, Movies & Sports in HD £40 a month, others have said this is a good deal.
HD is a must, also recording.
Are there better deals than this ??
