Granted not many people will be looking to buy this, but if you are its a lot of good wiring for dirt cheap. I think they are clearing out the whole range so there is loads of other autoleads stuff dirt cheap too. Has to be reserved and collected in store to get that price, but all my local stores had plenty of stock.

Features and benefits:
5m x 6mm2 Red Power Cable (with integrated fuse)
1m x 6mm2 Black Power Cable
5m Phono Cable 5m Remote Lead
2m x 4mm2 Speaker Cable
Fuse Holder/Fuse All connections

Will dis pump out da blazin beats of N-Dubz enough to rattle me parcel shelf of me well bling Corsa VXR?
Bargain if you are only using a small power amp, power cable looks like 8 gauge.

yes, innit an ting
Just for the record this isn't only used by deadbeats for chav music. My Rick Astley and S Club 7 albums really come to life with a bit of added base.
Useful for the rudeboy d*ckheads who, apparently can hear only bass notes...

Yes
Great price for a wiring kit if you need one. Though if you buy a sub/amp then the wiring kit should usually be included.

Asked at halfords and they said that it is a product they don't support any-more. When you go to collect, you will receive a refund (In the Manchester area anyway). Sorry

It's a product they are clearing out. The two local stores I went in over the weekend had some in stock. Plus Halfords always confirm to you that they have it a day or so after you've reserved it. If you want one, is reserve at another local store and wait for confirmation
That works out at about 9awg...good for maybe a couple of hundred watts. Wouldn't buy that even at £7.

As much as subwoofers are used by chavs to play s**t like N-Dubz with the level and bass knobs turned up full, it is a perfect addition to a car audio system for any music. In fact installed properly you wouldn't even know it were there, until you turn it off. It doesn't have to be thump thump thump bang bang boom boom. Without a subwoofer your missing all the low end sounds, and most standard car audio set-ups sound tinny. Done properly, it shouldn't rattle your parcel shelf either. It's like the difference between a sound system at a concert and a £5 FM radio.

If genuinely interested in such wiring, I would recommend no less than 4 gauge. If you're really serious about car audio, then you might want to try 0 gauge. Remember its easier to lay one wire which can cope with future upgrades, than replace it in future. Also, welding cable can often be had cheap and is ideal for the purpose. It's well insulated, perfectly suited to low voltage, high load applications, etc.

I wouldn't go down to 4 or 0 awg for anything too simple, maybe if you got 1000s of watts but a novice can't fit the connectors very easily so it makes hotspots.

I agree subwoofers aren't just for chavs, most expensive cars have one somewhere, a lot of BMWs and range rovers have them and some ford focus I've seen with factory fitted subs.

I've never seen an amp or sub come with wiring, buying them second hand isn't too bad since speakers don't tend to go wrong and you can test them when you pick them up before you buy them.

I'd probably replace the rca cables, i use 'that cable' on ebay and they have decent cables for a good price. Not sure about speaker cable, but it should be okay for a car.
Though these rca cables don't look too bad, better than the black ones that fall apart or the shiny blue ones.
