Perhaps not available in your area?

If I look at the Lidl website without putting in my postcode, there's very little showing under the 'Keep Fit... From Thursday' tab, but when I put in my postcode it shows a couple of items. Only the Ladies stuff though, there's no Men's available in my local area:

Ladies' Skin Compression Performance Capri Trousers £ 7.99 (image link)

I'm getting the same here, only ladies' stuff showing

I only get the mens showing which suits me!

Look pretty good for £9.99 for the top and £7.99 for the shorts, stops the old flab wobbling anyway

Maybe get some for the wife (got married last year). Only kidding though, good if you can get it.

You'd die a horrible, slow, lingering death.

That's what happened to me anyway.

Anyone know how they compare to redvenom.co.uk/ which seems to have a good reputation.

I could swear Aldi had running stuff including compression clothing in their 'coming soon' recently.

I bought the compression shorts and socks last time, I'm very pleased and I'm tempted to buy another set.

my first thought was Tron, actually. But Xmen is good too.

Just remember these are cheaper knock-offs of SKINS Compression sportswear, which is a very good brand of compression wear.
What Lidl are selling is "skin compression". Just in case anyone thought this might be some amazing deal for the branded stuff.

Reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Homer and Bart go to that shop that sells 'Sorny', 'Panaphonics' and 'Magnetbox'

(Some sportswear snobs I've spoken to would swear by the more expensive brands, like SKINS, but wouldn't touch any of the lesser brands and certainly none of the cheaper stuff)

Sorry if it's a silly question, but what's the difference between a standard base layer (ie sportsdirect.com/nik…027?colcode=42702703) and a compression top?

Making a point for admins here...

Went in today, the brand of this stuff is Crivit, not sure of quality but Lidl seems to be an outlet for all their stuff, especially in Germany:
http://www.lidl.de/de/CRIVIT

There was a thread on RunnersWorld this year talking about their running shoes and other sports accessories:
http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/forum/general-running/lidl-crivit-running-shoes/175369.html

Seems okay.

How tight should a compression top be. I got the top today and it seems pretty tight, though I assume it should be as it's a 'compression' top.

Thanks for the heads up, managed to get one at my local, fits perfect. look quite hench in it too!!
