There is black ones on amazon for £11.99 as well. I don't have one of these shops near me so would of had to pay for delivery.

Cheers for the idea though.
if any of you have as many HS100 Smart plugs as I do then this is awesome as you can put more than one in without hitting each other
Massive range available from CPC farnell with free delivery over £6 I think.
Any good recommendations from anyone for something like this but with 1 or 2 USB ports including?
Thanks op ordered.

Do you know if the brand from CPC called "ProElec" is okay/safe? They have an 8 plug 5m surge protected tower that suits my needs but just wondered if it was a safe brand.

My experience of pro elec branded stuff was not great. I seem to remember it being from Oldham but maybe I'm confusing brands. My experience of CPC Darnell is good though and I wouldn't hesitate about buying from them. Good product range, good prices, usually free delivery, pays UK taxes etc.

The one from CPC posted here some time back has 2 USB ports
Prefer the ones from CPC with surge protection and usb slots
I've always wondered with adapters / extensions like these whether having more than 3-4 sockets in use is dangerous or not when it comes to fuses and blowing out power sources. Are they generally safe?

Depends what you plug into them. Plugging four high amp heaters into a 4 gang one is potentially far more dangerous than plugging 10 low amp items (eg TV’s, Sky box, wireless etc) into this. You need to check the maximum load for each lead and then check the products being plugged into it. Very few people do though. I’ve got a 13amp cable reel with heavy duty cable I’ve blown the fuse on whilst using a hydraulic log splitter because the lead wasn’t unravelled. That’s another consideration. In theory though the fuse should blow anyway if it’s overloaded. But my rule of thumb is not to plug more than one high drain device into one extension lead.
I've got two of these 10 way things coming from a double socket behind my TV, and I've got sixteen things plugged in.
Nothing high rated, but stuff like a printer, 5 hard drives, 3 games consoles etc.

IT's very rare that it'd all be on at once, simply convenience, tuck all the wires away and be done with it all.

As long as it looks nice it will be fine
With 2 m cable it’s hot

Got a link? Thanks.
Perfect. Need a white 5m tower extension with even 6/8 sockets. Just wish it had individual switches, like the one at the bottom of the page, but that's a flat extension not a tower.

Thanks for the link.
