It has an ILAG coating - and with a 3 year warranty you can't go far wrong @ £12.99

ILAG is a Swiss company at the forefront of innovation and the production of high performance non-stick coatings. Over the past 40 years, ILAG has become one of the leading companies in the world in the coating industry and is particularly focused on the safety, quality and sustainability of its products.

All ILAG coatings are PFOA free and manufactured exclusively with PFOA free raw materials.

ILAG offers five types of coating, each with different qualities and characteristics. ILAG Ultimate is the most advanced product, a professional coating with the highest standards of safety and performance. All ILAG coatings are subject to stringent internal controls and legal guidelines. The coatings are also regularly tested by independent institutes to ensure their safety and quality.
Thanks, might look into this as I was thinking of getting a George Foreman

George grill at Aldi this week next week or so Lidl will do a copycat promotion so hold tight and you get one. I like this price but if displaying in kitchen why not show off the extra pounds spent for visitor lol
good find op, heat
Nice find OP....
Got a George Foreman 4 portion for £16.35 just before Xmas.
Any idea if these are removable plates for cleaning?
Cold got a 5 person george foreman just yesterday for £19.99, superior brand

The same question from me. I had one with non-removable plates and never again. It was a pain to clean properly

I doubt it at this price and thought they would have stated the fact if it was, as a major selling point.

Not had a 'George' myself, but not been too impressed by the ones friends have, so tempted by this.
Would still prefer one with different removable plates, double hinge and so on... but can't complain at £13.

I see this has special raised edges to allow you to collect all the fat instead of having it ALL run off your meats.

Which is nice.
I don't like the removable plate ones, find them a pain in the ass, never struggled to clean the standard type ones but of course I'm quite strong from all the healthy Aldi meat and veg I devour.

Yes, but the George Foreman doesn't have temperature control (this which is important as it burns the meat at times without the temp control, and it's £7 cheaper with a 3 year warranty, so I'd rather go for this. Personal preference, it's about what I need not what I want to show.

This one doesn't have a temperature control, does it? Saying "automatic temperature control" would mean you yourself can't control it - hence it's exactly the same as the George Foreman one - which also does regulate the temperature....i.e. controls it.

In what way is it superior? If you simply mean it's a better known brand that does not make it "superior" in any way!
