Contact lens fluid + case : 360ml £1.99 Home Bargains

Found at Fox Valley Sheffield store, but I've seen it in other branches.

Suitable for all types of lenses. Complete with a lens case.

£1.99 for a 360ml bottle seems to be a great bargain. I usually get the Tesco own brand version at 250ml for £3.88, or even a gouging £5.88 in a Tesco Express store.

I've compared the ingredients and both solutions contain the same chemicals.

This is definitely the best price on the high street for contact lens solution. It's the same price (different brand) at Savers, but it's always good to have options!
Great price! Did you happen to notice the brand? I can't make it out from the pic. Ta!
As an optometrist, I wouldn't go anywhere close to cheap solutions, let alone use one for my precious eyes. Stick to experts like optifree or bausch&lomb for solutions.
May as well clean it with washing up liquid than use this, both similar ingredients
This is the same ingredients as my B&L solution that comes with my contacts, so i'm more than happy to use!!

Should have gone to Specsavers!
very good solution, no difference between this and overpriced "good" brands one also same ingredients.
its listed on ebay for £8 delivered ( you can have a look :)- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/141760862974?lpid=122&chn=ps&googleloc=9046187&poi=&campaignid=620865095&device=c&adgroupid=27378760866&rlsatarget=pla-181484330946&adtype=pla&crdt=0
I have been using solo care aqua before, which is £9/360ml bottle, honestly I SEE no difference between them

Bausch & Lomb recalled for being potentially hazardous.
Despite concerns over its safety, from the Opometrist, according to the packaging this 'optivive' all-in-one contact lens solution is produced for TJ Morris Ltd (aka Home Bargains) by the UK based 'East Midland Pharma Ltd' - and according to their website 'East Midlands Pharma are the largest private label supplier of eye care products to the UK retail sector' .
- It seems they produce 'own label products for Asda, Wilko, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Aldi, Morrisons etc - So I'd bet all the supermarket own-brand contact lens solution are made in the same place, with same safety - just sold at different prices!

However, I just went into Home Bargains today and found they appear to have stop selling this - But did have a lot of Saline , branded Vizulize (Also a brand name used by EMP Ltd, who don't appear to list optivive anymore'
- So hopefully the lens solution will re-appear shortly under another name and won't have to go to next cheapest place (Wilko) I'd previously used.
Although it seems 'Savers' may also do lens solution at a similar price to home bargains (rather than prices people are trying to sell this for on ebay)
