Hi

I highly recommend these hot & cold travel mugs from the States.
demo: youtu.be/M-g…ioQ

Available in:
Blue: £14.03
Green: £13.74
Red: £12.97
Grey: £13.84
prices all DELIVERED exchange rate: 25/05/16

I have put the slightly more expensive blue coloured price as I felt these would be the most popular (but I love all the colours).

VIMP: DONT BUY THE 'TWIN PACK' AS YOU WILL GO OVER THE £15.00 DUTY ALLOWANCE AND PAY VAT & POST OFFICE CHARGES.

Go for the 20oz or venti (starbucks) as they are the perfect size for most occasions.

These are a top seller in the States (please read the american reviews on the link) they are available on amazon.co.uk but they are £21.78 PRIME or £24.78 NON PRIME. amazon.co.uk/gp/…top

They are one handed 'flip lids', great in the car (but exercise caution while driving). Many say better that the Contigo 'west loop' lid.

Keep drinks hot for 6 hours, and with ice- cold for 12 hours.
They are totally leak proof and are ideal for hot and cold drinks.

Ideal for gym they can be thrown in a kit bag with no worries of leakage.

**NOTE as the price is under £15.00 DELIVERED there will be no nasty Post Ofice £8.00 'admin' charges or VAT to pay**

TO PURCHASE
sign in with your normal amazon.co.uk account details

I have bought a few of these I'm VERY impressed.

They pair us nicely for a cold drink with my recent ice cube deal hotukdeals.com/dea…963

all 4 spheres fit nicely and keep drinks cold for up to 12 hours.

These are available with a faster dispatch from eBay (but not in blue) & am contacting the mods to see if I can the post link as hotuk have a policy on ebay international sellers even with high ratings sellers.

Dishwasher top shelf friendly (lid only) but use 'Steradent' for £1.00 a tube of 30 tablets to clean.

Decent enough price but not a patch on the Contigo "Autoseal". I've had one for several years and the spring loaded / self sealing top is fantastic. Still voted hot though

A review, this deal is NOT the 'Autoseal' West Loop lid.
Please exercise caution while driving and of course never drink alcohol & drive!!!
'“Unlike the Autoseal, which is the other patented design lid that Contigo do, this model does not require the user to push a button in between each sip that they take, so I purchased this one, as it much better for driving with.”

Spend a couple more squids and buy the Contigo West Loop. Autoseal is great, but I prefer the 1st generation, over the second, as it has a better spout design, and the internal material doesn't tarnish (whereas the v2 internals tarnish pretty quickly).

but the 'West Loop' needs two hands? and therefore is dangerous while driving?
Not that I'm advocating drinking coffee/tea/ ice cold drink when driving but everyone seems to and for the one handed flip lid (this deal) is safer & not illegal

How does the West Loop need two hands?!

I have never used the 'Autoseal' West Loop but from reviews:

“Unlike the Autoseal, which is the other patented design lid that Contigo do, this model does not require the user to push a button in between each sip that they take, so I purchased this one, as it much better for driving with.”
please see post #3
edit
The 'West Loop' appears to need a 'LOCK' which needs two handed operation to UNLOCK.
This deal no lock is required on the devise, so it is one handed, therefore safer (I stress safer NOT safe) when driving.
cheers

Reviewer's an idiot, the West Loop is great for one handed use while driving. I use the Avex-packaged version below and there's a lock on the top for when putting in your bag etc and a big button where your fingers sit to open the hole at the lip side. The lock system doesn't need two hands, it's a simple single finger push switch on the top of the lid which you don't need to use between sips, in my previous car it was too big for the cupholder so I had to put it on it's side on the passenger seat and it never leaked while unlocked.

Contigo website suggests West Loop is one-handed.

interesting

It seems the West Loop has a lock in this video https://youtu.be/GoWP8W3PLjk
at 3min 10sec when he uses the lock it appears to need two hands.
However I am not doubting what you are saying.

I guess there is a reason why Contigo fitted a lock on the West Loop but not a lock on the one posted in this deal.?

Certainly this deal is safe with no leaks, one handed and no lock, from my one months daily use.
I dont think I'd want to forget to put the lock on with the West Loop in a kit bag.
cheers

There are two generations of West Loops. The first doesn't have a lock (although I've never needed one), the second does (but has, in my humble opinion, a poorer spout design and inferior internal coating which tarnishes). My wife's West Loop is a second generation, and the lock certainly doesn't need two hands. It's not like you'd need to use the lock when driving anyway.
Does anyone know whether Byron is definitely spill & leak proof (I want to carry it in the handbag)? I'm asking becouse in the description of WEST LOOP it says "100% spill & leak proof" and BYRON's description just "leak proof". Thanks.

Hi

There is a knack especially when brand new to the Byron when putting the lid on. You have to place it on the base, slightly turn it the wrong way then push down and screw on the right way.
Then inspect that it's a tight seal.
It sounds awkward but its not, its just a 'knack'.
Also the outside thread is best wiped after filling to get rid of any overspill that has gone into the thread, before hand.
I would put my Bryon next to a £1500 MacBook Pro in a bag, but I would double check (tilt & inspect for leaks) 1st to be 100% sure, but I'm overly cautious.
This explains it better mycontigo.com/en/…180 towards the bottom of page left hand side.
hope this helps
any concerns before purchase about "100% spill & leak proof" v "leak proof" (well spotted!): email customer care at info@GoContigo.com please let us know their response.
thanks
ps
inside the lid is an "O" ring. I would not put the lid in a dishwasher as it may compromise the "O" ring over time. The "O" ring is key to "no leak" via the thread.
I wash the Byron overnight with Steradent tablets 30 for £1.00
