Yours are 54mm wide 700c tyres. These would be perfect if you need a thinner pair

Thanks. Could you explain why on Evans cycles it says ETRTO size: 37-635.
While mine are 622.

How can they be identical?

They are not identical, 635 refers to the rim diameter in millimetres, a 635mm rim is otherwise known as 700B which isn’t common at all. 622 is 700C and has the same diameter as 29” MTB wheels. This is the most common size.
According to Evans cycles that tyre is 700b (37-635), but going trough Halfords it comes up as 700c.

I will order a pair and hope for the best

There are probably different versions of the same tyre for different sized wheels, just make sure you go for the 700c/622 version and you'll be fine

I've got 54-584 27.5/210 will theses fit
With bicycle tyres, its best to use the bead diameter (622mm for most road bikes and hybrids from the last 25 years, 559mm for a standard mountain bike).

sheldonbrown.com/tir…tml has more than you want to know about some of the wierd tyre sizes.
Had too many punctures lately. Ordered 2, thanks op!
Hello! Will this fit a cannodale caad 8 frame. Diameter and width? (Road bike) thanks

I don't think it fits 700c wheels which is what the caad8 will have unless you have changed them for something non-standard. it's road tyre but not for std road type bikes.

Thanks a lot. Great help! I am not getting them!
Just to help save any confusion here's the tyre label.

Thanks Disillusioned have reserved 2 to pick up tomorrow, as its just a reservation wont pay till collection so can cancel. Given that both my local Halfords and Cycle Republic have them in stock am presuming its the 622 version as why carry so many 635's?.

Well the ones I collected today were definitely 37-622.
Reserved and collected a pair earlier, one has label as Vdisillusioned above, other has this:

I've learned something new, I was convinced 700c was the same as a 29er (MTB). But it seems it's different labelling for different regions and that 29er is just a marketing term for 28".

I'm going for a lie down
This got my vote

"Tyre offers everything a real all-round tyre needs."

Nothing worse than a tyre that only goes part way round.

622 == 700c so they would fit the wheels. They wouldn't fit the frame though because they are too wide (37mm)

Really dull question, but will Halfords sell at 4.99 if I ordered when they were this price?
yes, if you reserved online for collection when they were at 4.99 then when you goto get them ( assuming you dont get a "it appears we dont have the stock our computer says we have, So Sorry" call 1st ) they will be 4.99 and not the higher price they may be at the time of collection.

but on reflection, there is a small chance they wont honour it, if the item was instore ready to collect, then you should not have a problem at all, if the items said ready to collect in 3 or 4 days time then its possible they may cancel the reservation ( i have had this only once so far, this was with a set of kenda tyres that were on here a few weeks ago at a similar low amount, reserved 2 but they were having to be sent to store as none instock locally but a week later i got an email to state they could not supply them due to stock shortages and not getting any more stock in of them so reservation cancelled. )

on occasion though the reverse happens and the price drops between reservation & collection, but if you ask them they will discount the reserved price to the current price ( you may get an arsy store that wont want to but every time i have had this the store have been more than happy to do it, one time the chap behind the counter was the one who told me he was cancelling the reservation as the price had dropped online and he was putting em through as a normal purchase that he pricematched to the website price and then proceeded to take off 10% more as they had a flash sale on instore purchases that dinnertime, he even still accepted the 10% BC discount too ontop of the rest of the discounts )

I reserved but haven’t received a text to confirm. Anyone else with the same issue?

I didn't get a confirmation text but they had them and I collected at lunchtime.

Admittedly, they did cancel my order as they thought they were inner tubes which they didn't have, but pulled them both from stock and sold at the reserved price without any issue when I showed my reservation.

Thanks to the op for the deal heads up - both tyres 622 x 37

Funnily enough the guy who served me yesterday said he had had trouble finding them because he thought they would be inner tubes. As they had Continental inner tubes reduced as well I suspect someone somewhere made a mis-price booboo. A cracking bargain - cheers OP!
same for me, went instore to collect my 2 ( total cost after 10% BC discount £8.99 for 2 ) & the chap had not yet started picking em, had a natter for a while & then they went to pick em & they went to the innertube section 1st, before then asking if it was a tube or a tyre, then spent 5 minute looking for em as they were not on the shop floor display, they were hidden away somewhere in the back in the long forgotten section lol

as for text message, i got nothing too, but thats to be expected as i dont put my phone number in anymore, saves getting the "dont have em guv" phonecall that way, plus the store is only a few hundred yards from work or just over a mile from home depending on the store chosen so no biggy even if they dont have it in when i get there ( happens alot less often than when i supplied my phone number though lol )

i did get the reservation emails throught promptly though & use them on my phone when going to collect instead of the text
Collected my tyres today. Took 2 of the 2.95 inner tubes to checkout as well. Strange enough they were priced 3£ each on the shelf and at the checkout they tried to charge me 14£ for them. After I said the cost is wrong they checked it online and now asked me 3.99£ for each. That's 4 different price tags for the same product at this point. What a mess.

Later today I looked 4 of the same inner tubes up online and reserved them from Halfords at 2.95£ each.

Did not get a txt, but picked them up this morning. Cracking deal!
Picked mine up today at the 4.98 price. Whilst I was there, and amongst a bit of confusion, I got another two and they kindly put them through at the same price. Bonus. Thanks OP.
