I currently have a 2.4 Chunky Monkey on the front - massive tyre. Definite overkill for the trails around here.
Thanks OP, needed a new rear tyre after sliding around a bit too much last weekend. Just means I will be going a bit faster next time I fall off!
Seems like a good price. I got excited before realising it's not the Black Chili version which Conti call ProTection. Don't know how good the PureGrip compound is in comparison. Might give it a go for the price...
There's also a great tyre for muddy rear conditions which I use round Mugdock/ West Highland way trails , also good as a fast rear tyre for trail centres just under 600g and can be run tubeless , gd times. 26x2.1

Mines still going strong too
Ordered 2 2.2 29er for front and back, really tempted by the 2.4 for the front but doubt I have the clearance and think it will be over kill once the worst of the winter is over
Looking for a bit of advice as I don't know much about bikes. I checked my bike and the rim says 29er 622 x 19C 6061, will the 29x2.2 fit my bike okay?
