Ok so this is a pretty specific deal but if this weather has caught you out and you're looking for a top set of winter tyres then these look the part.

These are for 205/55 R 16 H tyres and come fully fitted for the price. You can just book a slot with your local Kwik Fit and get them sorted.

I'm getting mine fitted on wednesday and I cant wait after the way my 1 series has performed the last few days!

you should be banned for trolling

a great deal on excellent tyres, at a time when stock is diminishing.

folk will struggle to get winter tyres in a week or so

let alone get one of the best if not the best reviewed tyre so far this year.

HOT

i paid £150 recently for 2 tyres, balancing & tracking asking Kwikfit to check a slight knock from steering.
they charged me for the work saying eveything was fine.
2 days later i took it for an MOT & the guy showed me underneath that the track rod nuts had not been touched ( tracking was badly out of line) & i had a damaged linkage which was an MOT failure
& a safety issue!
DO NOT TRUST KWIKFIT THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

I have voted cold not on price but because its Kwikfit

Better ban me as well then, Kwik Fit = terrible customer service in my opinion.

These might however be good tyres and it might be a good price, I am not an expert.

Second, third whatever it I'd rather use a cheese grater over my danglies than let Kwik Fit touch my motors again. Won't rate the deal as it may be good but shame about the choice of outlet.

Ok for tyres, just useless at everything else. Getting my tyres there this week contis 4 for 253 fitted, size 195/50/15.
Hope they dont knacker it somehow ? HOT.

Our local place is fine and that price, for a winter tyre, is pretty good from what I've found. Where is better (that has availability)?

So some folk are saying kwik fit is poor service mostly about work other than tyre fitting?

can't say I would use them for anything else myself

but the deal is hot, very hot. how about just looking at that

That's where the KWIK comes from ... because they don't check anything .. but still charge you for it. These cowboys have been on Watchdog numerous occasions.. BEWARE

I have only had dealings with Kwik Fit on tyres and i haven't had any complaints. I knew this deal would get some comments like this but the fact that I could have winter tyres for a decent price within a few days and just down the road was a no brainer for me.

Have to agree with the others, I would only ever use Kwik Fit in an emergency. They have got a bad habit of spotting "faults" even when changing tyres.

But I guess service may well be garage specific

All these fast-fit type garages make money spotting "faults" - just go and get the hard-to-find tyres at a good price and get out. It's a good deal. If you don't like the fitting service, buy the tyres and have your preferred vendor fit them - it isn't hard.

awful company - but a good price

dont know if its a good price but Kwikfit service is a real shocker, would never recommend then

Voted hot because the price is hot.
I bought 4 of the same tyre from Kwik-Fit, but I wish i had bought 205's instead of 215's and saved £100 on the 4 tyres.
Just dont let kwik-fit do any other work and ignore any sharp intakes of breath from the fitter about any "faults" he has found.
They did not report any faults with my car, but it has just passed an MOT.

Can anyone give me some advice on changing the width of my tyres? I currently have 195-60-15H tyres on, but there hardly seems to be any winter tyres available with this spec. I know that narrower tyres are generally better in the snow, so is it possible for me to buy tyres with a different width and have them fitted instead of 195s? If so, is there anything else which would also need to be replaced (eg. the wheel bearings and races) to accommodate this?

Cheers!

Be careful, some insurers deem this as a modification.

Really? Thanks for letting me know; this is exactly the sort of practical advice I'm after.

Great price for one of the best winter tyres around.
Just ordered mine despite the deal being supposedly expired!

Thanks
