Well my link to the Chemical sale sank like uncle Alberts ships but while having another proper look I notice theyve reduced several pairs of Converse trainers, few are new. These particular ones are £34.99 on Amazon.

These are some of the other reduced Converse trainers:

chemical-records.co.uk/sc/…477

chemical-records.co.uk/sc/…363

chemical-records.co.uk/sc/…560

chemical-records.co.uk/sc/…560

There are a few others in just 1 size.

And I dont work for or know them btw, ive just been a fan for a long time and like to support decent independent record shops.

Thanks for posting!

Got a pair that looks very very like this from ASDA for £1.50 a while ago.

+Heat anyway

Shame they don't do half sizes as went looking for a pair of converse all star chuck taylors today for the gym

i've never worn a pair of converse's or any type of shoe/trainer similar to this..
Are they comfortable? is the size just ur average trainer size needed or do u need to order larger as these seem tight from the pics?

yeah they are comfortable and should last unlike the Asda £1.50 version ;-)
i've found sizes to be ok

Cold. Plenty of trainers that look like this for a LOT less.

ordered! thanks OP...

But surely that doesnt make it cold.
These are a classic trainer at a bargain price.
Thats like comparing Levis to Primark, not that theres anything wrong with Primark, just making a point.

Over £23 for a pair of canvas trainers is classed as a deal?

Even if you like your brand names there are alot of branded, canvas, rubber toed, basketball low tops for less than this.

And don't give me they last longer than the cheap ones...converse have not been made in the USA for a long time, they are made in the same far east factory as all the rest. Also (for those that don't know) converse is an alternative logo used by nike.

of course you are right badgerpelt, the millions of people that buy the converse ones each year are wrong....The deal here is for CONVERSE why mention and compare to other brands? NOT the point of HUKD.

mwa ha haaa....i love you guys that post like that...

Why buy an ipod, here is an eyepod, just the same for fraction of the price.
Why buy gstar jeans, tesco do a pair that look the same for 6 pound
Why get a real tattoo you can get stick on ones that look the same..

fact is, they aint the same. You would end up buying 10 pairs to last you half as long as these classic trainers. There is a reason they have been around so long

I would say go a half size smaller if possible.

Help, can anyone recommend a brand or model with a removable inner sole, one that is not glued on?

There are better deals out there... I got some White ones from debenhams sale on 23rd dec for £21.50 delivered and they turned up Xmas eve.

OK then, I currently own ten pairs of converse (9 of them chucks) and none of them cost £23 or over. This is not a deal. Not by a quality standard (if you want a bargain for a decent pair of basketball boots this is not it) or by the standard of this particular brand (if you want a cheap pair of chucks look elsewhere). I assume the point of hot UK deals is to highlight hot deals in the UK...this is not a deal, and if some people are going to get duped by rrp then I am going to speak up.

so lemme know a better deal, Im deffo up for it...pls share.

As far as I'm concerned, thats good value.

mind you, I got my son two pairs of converse low's today at JD sports for 30 quid, think thats a good deal

£15 each is a deal...saw some but they didn't have my size. Schuh nearly always have something under £20:

as have TK maxx on the highstreet.
