Argos/Cookworks seriously need to define "2 portion" or Trading Standards should investigate (if they had the time & resources)

I purchased the other model (not stainless) with same description and you cannot fit 2 panini's in it - took it back for refund

The price is reasonable would be good if it actually fit 2 portions = not voting

Agreed. Portions size must be for children.
£2.50 for a sandwich press in Aldi sale
This looks like my silvercrest ( 20 quid , 3 year warranty) , only half the bottom is missing !
Bought this about 8 months ago, it's amazing value for money; however I would say that we only ever do 1 panini at a time for an even cook, perfect for toasted sandwiches too
Great for turning ordinary cold sandwiches into warm works of art
Cheap but does the job
Can I grill burger on it?

If you want to squeeze the juice and flavour out of it.
Ordered mine, plugged in and already everyone in the house had had a toastie in it. Oh well, that’ll be it back in the box now and stored on a shelf in the garage like all my other HUKD electrical purchases LOL. Heat added, great for under £11.
This looks identical to the name brand one I have - it's very good for cooking things like Pork or Turkey steaks in a few minutes.

Yes. its not a press and does not have to squash the contents, so the top plate can just loosely sit on top of the burger and will cook it in minutes. Cook steak in mine
