seriously cold folks, these tend to make brick tough skanky loaves (we stupidly spent a fortune on one a long time back).

..If this is interesting to you then please try for around £0.86p from asda, more from tesco's & waitrose
"wrights" baking bread mixes, visit their website, get a gist of their wide & tasty range of breads, ..maybe watch their "how to" films, doesn't take much & you'll have bread that will be ganneted by all & sundry!
seriously good stuff, since finding this brand we have very rarely since brought bread, making a couple of loaves of this every week, it's kickstarted us into other forms of baking, chapattis (simple) etc.

it never go's to waste when you make a good loaf of your oewn, it's not time consuming, merely consumed often before it cools!
then spend the dosh for a bread maker on a good mixer for speeding up dough!

^ Which 1 are you using at the mo

great price..i spent 6 times this on one for my sister a long time back and that died after a year and only being used a handful of times.

I had problems with my bread maker till I was advised to use a crumbled vitamin c tablet in with my mix..I have never had a failure since..apparently depending how the flour is stored it can lose some of its potency.

Homemade bread is the best and this product is great!!

When looking at bread makers a couple of months ago, the only ones which came out as worth the money were the Panasonic 254/255. All the rest were rubbish in comparison.

Good price so voted hot.
Excellent xmas gift as it's a big, fairly weighty box and easy to wrap. Will sit in any empty cupboard for 5 to 10 years without troubling anybody.

Have to say for the extra £20 this is by far a much better machine. Gutted that I paid £99 for it not so long ago

Hmm I bought this one 4 weeks ago for about £22.50

Shame its gone back up to £35.89 but its not bad for the that I paid. Made 2 loaves with it so far, came out fine although they were pre-mixed.

May be OK if you're on a very tight budget but if you're serious about home made bread you need a Panasonic. About three times this price but much less than they used to be and widely acknowledged to be the best. Ours has lasted over 6 years so far.

Risk with these cheapies is that they'll put you off home bread making.

Hot on the basis of price though.
