This'll look great in a bedsit, next to the travel kettle and letter from the ex-wife's solicitor telling you that she's not quite had the shirt of your back yet. :o)

Et tu, Brute.......... Et tu?

Not a bad price, heat added.

Excellent!! I was about to buy a single burner one for the same price from Ebay, for a friend whose cooker has just died. This one is much better value, thanks!

It looks like something we'd send to Burma.

These are for students so that they can accidentally set fire to their digs when they are drunk and trying to cook something other than pot noodles. Seriously though, does well as a backup hob for when your usual hob breaks and the takeaways are getting expensive.

That'll be me.

i bought the russel hobbs one for £30 from argo month ago might get this one too now, never have to many LOL

got one of these a few months ago when there was a gas leak in our street and they shut us off for nearly a week.

its really good. heats up really quickly and is suitably small when packing away in a cupboard.

i wouldnt want to use it all of the time, but as a backup cooker, its much more flexible than a george forman grill...

Comedy Genius!! Rep added.

Voted Cold, I have owned 2 of these already.

First one bought, excited yes I got a bargain!!!

This one lasted only 3 months.

Went to get a replacement, Argos lady told me its best not to get Cookworks as they have nothing but problems with replacing them. Thought I wouldnt take her word for it. This time took it home, must be a fault off the other.

No, this one lasted 2 days!!! Yes! 2 Days.

As youd have rightfully guessed, got a refund and got the Rusell and Hobbs (next cheapest) and not a single problem now in 12 months. The cookworks issue seems to be if you use both hobs at the same time or for a long time (15 mins on full heat) and it clunks out and just dies.

Trust me £14.99 aint worth the hassle. Its good to get it because youll know that the thing will have you Back into another Argos for a replacement in no time.

ps: Their Cookworks blender died on us within 5 days during this same period. We used it once. Had to take back for a refund.

Voted cold, after having a couple of cookworks items including this I won't be buying any more as the quality was terrible.

Now I'm the other end of the scale - every cookworks product I've used has lasted for ages. Had the cookworks toaster and kettle for ages - only gave them away when we moved last year and my aunt is still using them. The handblender I've had for ages and is still going strong too......
