Why!? ..what is wrong with a few seconds of manual grinding? I've always been non-plussed as to the battery driven apparant laziness of these, are they actually good or just another gimmick?
how regulated is the delivery etc (eg preventing sodium overkill etc).

can't get my head round it.

True. I have got normal manual grinders, but posted this as thought was good deal for them.

I've bought them for my Mum as she has bad arthritis in her hands and finds it particularly hard to grip around things. She likes sea salt (not a lot in her diet!) and as she in her 70's, I'm here to help her with any little gadgets that I think might make her life easier...each to their own

Are you talking about their use as mills or dildos?
