we have this not really that good to be honest but i spose for £10 its ok

found the whisk doesnt reach the bottom of bowl unless you use it by hand which defeats the object of having it.

Reserved two..hope they are good seem weak powerwise as only 200watt motor

Got one already and rubbish to be honest. I guess not bad for a tenner but I wouldn't bother to be honest

Tesco one has really good reviews - it was reduced recently but now is back up to £9 - I'd probably choose it over this to be honest

save money and buy better quality...

Thats a mixer only no stand or bowl.

200W and a dough hook is an optimistic combination to say the least - my guess is that anyone attempting to actually make dough is going to struggle...

The paddles not reaching the bottom of the bowl is also disastrous - I can see it now, egg yolks in the bottom of the bowl LAUGHING at you

Meanwhile I use a cheaper option - it's called a wooden spoon and it comes with free exercise

Can anyone recommend a better quality but reasonably priced mixer like this?

What do you actually want to do with it? DO you need a bowl over just a hand mixer? Do you want to make bread dough? Do you intend to use it a lot or just once in a while?

If the answer to those is all 'yes', spend a few quid and get something really decent (you'd be thinking £50-60) - if the answer is 'no', get the highest-wattage hand-mixer you can find...
