Nope. Putting George Foreman in the title is a little misleading IMO. … Nope. Putting George Foreman in the title is a little misleading IMO. Still a good price though, great for students.

Sorry for any confusion caused, it was'nt my intention to confuse. I have amended title to make it clearer:santa:

I bought a GF Compact grill from John Lewis for £20 but after a couple of weeks took it back because it wasn't heating up properly.

I then saw in Sainsbury's their own version for £12 which was slightly bigger and I bought it and it works great.

So I'd say some of the other GF type grills but not actually the real GF may be as good as the real GF.

]Here's the previous thread about these with a couple of pics and some dimensions to give a better idea of size.

cookworks are pretty basic and poor in my opinion not a bad price granted but product wont last

Just picked it up today from Argos... didn't get the Quidco.

I am trying to cook something on it right now:) It looks quite cheap and I don't think it will last a year (1 year warranty) but for 6.99 you can't go wrong.

It is pretty small, I put two slices of bread - nothing else will fit, so it's good for a couple, I'd say.

Upsss, something's burning:w00t::p

how long does this take this thing to heat up??

Good deal, but try to get one with removeable plates (easier/possible to wash, rather than wipe) & one with a floating hinge is much more versatile - granted my one from Lidl with these features was ~£30, but IMHO worth it (2 or 3 year warranty too).

Voting hot.
