Has anyone found any real world benefits of the expensive kettles over these cheapies? Saving 15 seconds on boiling a litre of water isn't enough for me to spend the extra
Can someone let me know if the heating element is concealed.

As with most it's bragging rights. Yes my Kettle is the equilibrium of human workmanship and I'm a pompous overzealous Instagram knob head. Shallow ppl mate.

Yes it is concealed. I have this, use it everyday and still in good working order for the last 4 years ...

I read some of the "Questions" on the Argos site for this kettle and one was "Is the element hidden?" The answer from Argos was "The element is in the base of kettle not hidden."

Kind of leaves you still wondering, doesn't it? However, if samansam has this exact model then I'd take their response over the cryptic one from Argos! Hehe.
Thanks
I only buy 3kw kettles. Life is too short.
🔥 Thanks OP.

Nice kettle but virtually impossible to see 'water level' indicator as it's hidden behind the handle.
