'hot' LOL seriously if you're putting something small in the oven this would pay for itself in no time (like whats a normal oven? 2000/3000watts?).

Dont think it will take a full chicken unless you wedged it in with your foot.

Hot but I have halogen oven for small stuff.

Couldn't fit a Mini in mine, VW Up fits fine though

It'll fit in 3 fish fingers and that will be it lol

Its a shame Argos doesn't do FREE Click & Collect from your local Argos?

You sure about this? I have a similar thing and it only just fits a couple of slices of bread in it. If it can do a full pizza I might have to get one.

I have this oven and yeah you can fit a 12" pizza in no problem at all

If you fold it in half. Then fold it in half again

The oven is only about 9 inches from back to front

Well worth 17 quid though. Think I paid 25 for mine and I love it

How much do you love it? Scenic walks or a quick trip to the pub?

Had something like this years ago, actually did roast dinners in it, lol! Heat from me, just for the nostalgia!

I have this oven & use it for cheese on toast as I don't have a full size oven, great find

Can be used to bake FIMO type clay. Ideal for those who bake tiny amounts of clay in a big oven this would be very economical.

bum bum tis

this is very very small could barely fit anything in there, bought it before and returned it to Argos, spent a little extra and got a 25l cookworks oven at £40- it was worth it

Bought one of these for the same purpose under a different brand name, found it very erratic so I binned it.

Ordered one for the camper - no doubt it'll end in next to the microwave in the loft that was also bought to put in the camper ;-)

The wattage is unlikely to reflect the power usage.
The size might.
For instance (simplified) a 2000W watt oven would probably get up to 180 degrees in half the time, using the same electricity.
Then it would need to be on for half the time at 2000W to keep that temperature.

If you're using it in a situation where you've got a limited electrical supply (for instance in a caravan supplied by a single 13a socket that may actually be limited to 5a, say), low power is useful.

Bought one for when I go camping hope it's ok heat added x

does it have a grill ?

Took the plunge and bought it thinking of the Motorhome, could be useful save on gas.

Hey lobby I doubt it, what you want for £12 lol.

argos.co.uk/sta…htm

video 48 seconds in, (2/3rds way through the 1 minute 10 second video) says "it has a grill FUNCTION".

Shows cheese on toast being done.

You can see there seems to be a heating element in the TOP of the oven to brown stuff, but how uneven that might be, being offset in the front, not in the middle of the top of the oven, can only be guessed at.

I guess the word "function" is added as it may not work as well as a "proper" grill.

This.

I have had a Tefal 'Toast n Grill' for about 5 years now & that is similar but has simpler controls. But it saves a lot of hassle either way.

OUT OF STOCK

None left damn.

Well I finally got it - after much faffing about thanks to a*sehole force, and the food tray is missing - Argos told me I'd have to return it for a refund but there's no exchange available.

So looks like I'll have to get one from Argos and return that minus the tray ;-)
