Seeing as its what she has said she would like, then i'm sure she will be

These things are really good, takes forever to cook, but so worth it.

We Love ours - lamb steaks in minted gravy are the best  Nothing nicer than coming home from work or a day away from home, to be greeted as you come through the door with the smell of a lovely tea ready and waiting to be eaten

Bought this a month ago, still love it!

I bought one of these a few years ago but managed to lose the instruction manual and ingredients during a move. Does anyone have spares or could do a photocopy that they could send me??

As much as we love having lamb shanks in ours (and we do!), it's best for doing rice pudding. Yum!

What is it you need to know? They are all pretty much the same and straight forward to use.

Also for recipes either do a Google search as there are millions posts by people on various forums (which i've always found useful) or get yourself down the the library and get a couple of slow cooker books out

Have just been and bought one of these this morning and was about to post it First batch of curry cooking as we speak. Will be a bit of a learning process I think (ie don't put the spinach in at the beginning cos it wilts down so much), but have high hopes for it. My friend bought a different one a few months ago and has raved about the yummy food so much I thought I'd give it a go. At £8.49 if I don't get on with it it's no great loss.
