bought this and took it back..its tiny !!

Had 3 of these, each lasted only a couple of months each. Absolute rubbish even at this price
(sorry OP)

Its ok for one portion but the basket handle is rubbish and you cant rest it out of the oil on the edge of the fryer. Wouldnt recommend unless you are really tight for worktop space

If you are like us and use a fryer very infrequently then this is great to have in your cupboard. It takes up very little space and uses less than a litre of oil.

you can rest it out. the only problem with the basket is its too small.

Have this and tbh wish I hadn't bothered .. absolutely tiny and nothing seems to taste that great from this fryer so I would recommend paying another tenner or so to get a half decent one.

err why not just use a small wok. you cna actually deep fry a lot wuth 1 litre of oil.

Gotta disagree with the negative statements above...

This is a great PORTABLE fryer, its size is perfect for a reasonable portion of chips for 2 people. We were so happy with it we bought 3! [One for my family, one for the bro and my one for uni accommodation!] and they're used fairly regularly.

If you don't tend to fry huge quantities of food then its perfect. If you fry the sorts of food that contaminate oils (i.e. breadcrumb type foods) and you need to change and clean oils regularly this is perfect. The smaller quantity of oil means its ready to fry more quickly.

Obviously if regularly fry for a large family then steer clear, but we manage it often enough by doing smaller batches more often at a time - it's only a few minutes a go because the oil doesn't cool so quickly ... and the upside is the fried food doesn't stick.

God writing this makes me sound like an infomercial nutcase who fries food all the time :P synopsis: It's brill, get it.

WTF - thats about 5 chips!

bought this a few months ago when they were half price, and it's brilliant. if you only use a fryer for 1kg of chips each night this this is not for you. compact easy to clean, perfect

and as for the comment about taste????????? wtf, this only heats what you put in it

We bought one last time they were on offer. Great for a small family but I mean small.

I cried with laughter when we opened it, its a lot smaller than I thought it would be however for myself and hubby its perfect.
