Keep seeing these about and always with good reviews but i dont know if i need one. Bit like the bread machine, George Foreman, sandwich maker, Smoothie Maker, Soda Stream.......:D

heat though as its a good deal.

I agree with the above but ive had a halagon oven for about 6 months now, and I wouldnt be without one now, very usefull if u have a big oven like me and only want to cook small things, although saying that it cooks a small chicken to perfection and fat free roast potatoes

I agree. Very useful if you have the space in your kitchen. With the extender ring you can eveb cook a small turkey.

I sort of talked myself out of getting one then i just read your post...................now i am not so sure

we got the smaller one when on offer at Makro, went in with the 'it will end up in the cupboard not being used' attitude but no, we use it quite alot, its my fave thing for doing potato wedges in, and loaded skins, does a nice job with beef aswell.. all I find is if cooking a joint to foil the top for a good part of the cooking else its too dry by the time its cooked.

I had the TV advertised one, JML , but it packed up, I might buy one of these, very similar (or possibly identical) and almost half the price.

Just reserved last one at my local Argos ..............so can you basically cook anything in this ? you know like stuff that normally requires oven cooking ?

Reserved. lol

bought my mum one for christmas since she has had this she has not used her cooker she cooks everything in it she loves it

I bought one a few months ago and havent used my oven since, plus saved so much on Electric bill. Recommended!!

the one i have is a flavorwave turbo ??

great invention these. I havent used my normal cooker in well over a year.

only valid price until tomorrow!!!

Current selling price valid until 21/06/2011

I have just picked mine up. It weighs a ton! its mahoosive! I am hoping that when i open the box its much smaller ::D

I have one and love it but if I have to purchase a new one I will buy the one with the lid attached.

Yes I agree got mine from robert dyas, its a black one, however next time I get one will be one that has the lid attached.

cheese on toast, stuffed mushrooms, gammon joint, fish fingers , chicken dippers

haven't picked mine up yet, hoping oh finishes work in time, can you bake cakes etc in these?

I have left mine on the side. Its so big i dont know if i will keep it. Can anyone post some good links up that give you ideas for cooking.
I would be interested to know what people here use theirs for.

Do these give off a lot of smoke? I want one to use in work but not "technically" allowed.....

Thanks for that, i will have a look later. *thumb*
I was surprised that you don't get any food info with the cooker. All there is is the instructions.
The reviews are so good i need to learn to love it

lpool these dont give off any smoke at all.
No worries mymymy these are just as basic as a microwave to use once you have used it a couple of times you will be used to the adjustments etc, its prety much the same temperatures as a fan assisted oven for cooking food, only with the joys of not having to keep ya eye on the food in case it catches fire etc and having an auto switch off timer on it.

I ordered one yesterday for collection, when I got there today it had gone up again, I'm not happy as the price quoted on the email reply was £29-99.
(Needless to say, I didn't buy it)
