You will be wasting your money don't get this kettle it won't last a week. …You will be wasting your money don't get this kettle it won't last a week. I'll use the money on something that will be a help for the future and use the kettle your using now

I have an Argos basic kettle that cost like £5, three years of daily use and it still works fine... Cheap doesn't always mean rubbish.

It's actually about time I retired it so I'll be buying this.

We're moving house next week, it's not the best kettle, but I can pop it in the boot, so I can have a cuppa when we move in. Cracking spare kettle. Great find OP

Great to take camping! Thanks op! Heat added x
I have this. It colour matches my fridge freezer and my microwave oven in the dining room.
Surprisingly, it also gets less limescale deposits than the previous Argos bought ones.

Have to agree, it lasted two weeks though. Electric kept tripping, eventually narrowed it down to this. Wouldn't buy another, threw it out as couldn't find the receipt. Think I paid £5.99.

Mum had the basic one for over two years still going strong
I've had one of these basic type kettles that lasted five years... and it was still going strong when I gave it away. Hst, I've had brand new expensive kettles that lasted a matter of months.

As all kettles are covered by a years guarantee, I'd give it a shot if you want one.

(Had to edit this 'cos my WiFi cut out.)
