You'd be suprised - some people moan if they can't get a jumbo sized crumpet to toast perfectly or the whistle is too noisy on the kettle or its too heavy or has a leaky spout - the list goes on....

I'm so glad I'm not the only one!!
Bought the De longhi kettle one quite a while ago, same pattern, differant shape.Has the looks of the gherkin building in London ( obviously NOT as big ).I think its one of the new breed of electricals that dont use as much power because it ALWAYS turns its self of when most ordinary kettles will carry on boiling longer.Biggest crock of .... and does'nt do what it says on the box.Sadly the wife likes it ( i try to explain it does'nt make it practical though ) and its in HER play area !!! so who am i to moan. Heat added for price, kettles alone were £55 when i first saw the de longhi range one.

I’ve got the Bosch styline one that you can choose the temp on from 70 to 100 degrees it beeps really loudly and seems to carry on boiling for ages - sometimes I get annoyed it’s not beeped and snatch it off the base to get one up on it!
Sadly no option on this one, which ive just gone over to spark into life.I find i keep the tab down longer if im close to it.Its about 5 metres away, ive walked over to the table and written this and it boiled !!! by the time ive got to the second sentence.

or the bread doesn't toast evenly?
I cant recommend black toasters and kettles. Go for lighter colours.
when you want your toaster to look like it'd call you daddy

black is always in fashion, its the texture that is OTT IMO
Really wanted a kettle/toaster like this but wanted white, the delonghi/breville are so overpriced!
This looks really cool and killer price (just spent 27 quid on much reduced the delonghi kettle deal). Just hope it lasts... my kettles always seem to pack up 1 week & 2 days after the warranty expires!
The kettle wouldnt be good for emptying due to the angle of the body. Cookwork items that are food related wont be accepted back unless there is a fault. Its argos's own brand and had an issue with a kettle i bought. It was slow to switch off but as it had been used they say no.

It shows all dirt. Not recommended in the kitchen. The prisms will make it even worse.
