Legendary cooler.

Note that for 52p more you can have a red LED fan with it, the red LEDs give the fans better airflow. fact. ((Edit: 52p more for red LED fan and non EVO version of hyper212 (Edit of Edit: though apparently internet says its the same cooler just different fan.))

Heat for the above comment about red LEDs giving better air flow. I added a racing stripe and lightning bolt to mine and the CPU temperature regularly dips below -5 degrees Celsius. I bought mine at £25 after tracking it on camelcamelcamel for about 6 months. Great cooler, great price!

The LED version was about 15 quid over black friday. If you can wait, you might get it for cheaper in January sales.

No, I don't have a time machine for you to go back in time to get the cheaper price
great cooler - has lasted me many years on my i5 2500k, and oc'd from 3.3ghz to 4.5ghz. It could possibly go higher but never tried
Before switching to Liquid Cooler, this was always my choice of Cooler, used in many of my work machines... Good Cooler, HOT
Bought this about a month ago, fantastic cooler for the price.
Got the LED Version for £14.99 from Scan;s BF Offers, Classic Cooler.
Great low cost cooler. Was using this on my 7600K and it was fine at 4.2ghz, but I wanted higher so went for a Noctua NH-D14. But obviously for this price, it's fairly unbeatable for a PC that won't be going to stupidly high overclocks.
Recently got an AIO cooler, masterliquid 240 lite for £42, it's brilliant performance for the price, keeps my ryzen 1700 pretty cool when Oc'ed to 3.75Ghz per core. Only gets approx 51C now when stressed, approx 22-24 when idle (ambient 18-20) - previously was getting around 28-30 idle and 75-85 stressed.
It's also very quiet and no pump noise, and I sit right next to my main PC, so it would be very noticeable. Got it from box.co.uk last week.
Got an AIO cooler but the pump noise is driving me insane (not loud just an annoying frequency), are these nice and quiet?
Got the RED LED one for about this price. Super quiet, running on a stock i7-7700k.
Would buy again or recommend (only if asked, I don't generally go around starting conversation about it or telling people the should buy certain CPU coolers, Car Insurance, Banks or Microsoft products!)
Legend says this fan could cool ghandi on a warm summers day, awesome piece of kit.

Can you turn the LED off?

Reading online it seems the red led version has better way to mount making the install easier.
