Cracking price for a full grain 100% leather belt from cowhide. Only £10.27 including delivery from China — admittedly it will take a month to arrive, but still a great price.

Coolerfire is the brand, but it could easily be a more well-known one. Doesn't really matter when looking at belts though, especially full grain leather. You can get it in coffee brown or black, both with a metal alloy pin buckle — looks like nickel.

To be fair, that looks exactly the same. But a great price!

Sorry I have to disagree hover your mouse over the picture to zoom and the quality of this one is a lot rougher than the one I recommend
If you are not bothered about super fancy, just want a solid strip of leather for a belt, Zack Hunter on Amazon Marketplace has been selling good stuff on the cheap for years. Supposedly made in the UK as well. They also have an Ebay store.

Yeah that's why you need to buy full grain, no shiny stuff, just a bit of paint on the 'skin'.

I own a black and a brown one and they are each cut from a solid piece of leather, none the usual bonded rubbish that turns brittle and peels off after a couple of months.

Can't seem to able to order this belts
I've been trying to buy a good leather belt for a couple of years now. Bought 3 online via amazon and ebay and all are poor. All I want is a thick leather belt to wear with jeans, like the one I bought 25 years ago in Greece.

Most seem to say they are real leather but end up being bonded crap.
I'm happy to accept recommendations from you folks.

For upmarket quality you are likely better off going into a shop/market stall that sells leather goods after Mr Corona has buggered off (e.g. in London, Camden Market or Petticoat Lane Market).

On the other hand you could message the owner of the Ebay store and ask them if they have anything that might fit the bill/cut and stitch one to your specifications, after all they do claim to have them made here in the UK.

The belt I posted above is full grain leather, not bonded. You can see it in the pictures that it is just a piece of leather. Rough edges and all.

Yeah, I've ordered it thanks. I guess it was worth a punt for the price. I agree about the rough edges. Many of the belt photos that show smooth, shiny edges have a plastic coating.

Many thanks. I'll keep it saved in my basket as a backup option. I'm wary of Amazon as that is where my previous attempts have been bought, but I accept your experience is very positive, and this counts for a lot. Cheers.

I may have a look around the local markets once they reopen, but I haven't had any luck in local shops. It all seems to be badly labelled, bonded stuff.

These are high quality and are a steal at these prices:

amazon.co.uk/s?k…ank

You want these styles of wider belts for jeans:

anthonicrown.com/pro…cm/

Some can be adjusted/cut to length so you can order larger sizes at lower prices and make them fit. I don't think the first six styles on their website can be adjusted.

I have these styles which I ordered in larger sizes and cut down to size. Just pull the pin all the way back to release and cut to length:

amazon.co.uk/Ant…-12

amazon.co.uk/Ant…-11

You can also buy leather straps on ebay and fit them to these buckles.

I believe these can too but have not purchased myself:

amazon.co.uk/Ant…-14

amazon.co.uk/Ant…-19

amazon.co.uk/Ant…1-9
