Forgot to add - most previous deals were for the Elite 330 case which suffered known issues with the plastic bracket for the power button breaking. Can't say for certain this 430 version is different but I couldn't find any reports of such issues with it, and it seems a higher spec.

Note that Ebuyer say it doesn't have the plastic side window but the case alone is normally more than £35 and this power supply is usually £30+ so the combo is pretty much half price.

As has been said in other threads, if the PSU ever fails you might have to return the case too as it's a package but that's a risk I'd take (if it ever happened I'd just buy a new PSU to avoid the hassle as the case is worth the money on its own). Makes sense to test the PSU before putting everything in the case though!
The info is wrong for the psu.Spec is for 400w psu on ebuyer.
Output Capacity 400 Watts

Nice deal heat added but, I've checked the specs the title says 500W PSU but the output capacity says 400 Watts, I'm not too computer savvy but is that rite for a 500W PSU? I'm asking as my case has seen better days and wanted a new one.
So surely you need to amend the price to what it actually costs rather than just "+postage"?

Price delivered is minimum £41.26

Still a good deal, but remember that if the PSU fails or is duff on delivery, you have to send both the psu AND the case back. They won't just accept the psu. I know this for definite as I had to do this during a build for a friend that I was doing. Annoying if your build is already put together

I had a 500w version that came with a coolermaster case (still have it in the attic) running a x2 240e and ATI 4850.
It ran my system ok but the fan developed a grinding noise and started to die after about 4 months.

It also had a really annoying habit of switching the fan from low to high speed all the time which got on my nerves pretty quick.
The fan on this one looks to be set to run high speed as standard and only speed up a small amount so it wont be as annoying.

Defo a bargain at this price added heat and ordered one along with arctic freezer 7 rev 2 for £15.86 which I needed to finish my new cheapo build off. Thanks for sharing this bargain
Silly question but...

How would you know if the case fits your motherboard etc...??

and

Is the PSU quiet?

and

How do you know if the PSU is compatiable with your mobo?

Masters of being cooler.
I have this PSU. It's not black, it's grey and is really generic but has a cooler master sticker on it. The noise is fine and it's been fine in my system for 2 years now.

very cheap, and a bargain but it may be false economy with the low grade psu even though it's free
It's a decent bit of kit on a budget.
Horrible case, but this is still a great deal.
horrible psu unless you are building a HTPC ...

That alone would put me off buying this combo.

The PSU is not great, but that's usually £30 on its own. Ideal for a budget build.

The product code in the item description is for the 400w Model RS-400-PSAR-J3 / RS-400-PSAP-J3 which seems more likely for the RRP they have listed.
Im guessing somebody made a mistake at Ebuyer as this is on there too ebuyer.com/235…500 the exact same kit and listing but for £63 which seems more likely for the case + 500w PSU.

If they took the crap PSU out and lowered it even further it'd be a fine case for a slightly higher end rig. That said I've just built a HTPC using their ITX Elite series coolmaster (sans PSU) and its a very nice case with very nice attention to detail. Assuming this is the same its worth £40. Heat added.

If you look at the reviews people are saying that it is not black and I can confirm that it is a generic grey PSU.

No you don't, or you didn't last month when I tried to RMA just the power supply after 2 weeks!!!! Ended up buying a new power supply as customer wanted his PC and the hassle of stripping the system back down was too great. oO
I just sold mine after a couple of months. Good size and practical, but I found it very noisy.
Ran graphics card,3 HDD multiple fans.. No problems with power....
Would that PSU be powerful enough for a HD 7850?
