Anyone used this on an AMD FX 8-core care to share their experience?

According to some round here, some laptops have these in them.

Although Scan's page indicates AMD socket capability, the spec they quote only shows Intel. Having acquired a FX8350, I would be interested to know how it performs.

i have the v2 and it came with all the intel and amd mounting brackets etc. decent cooler got it on my 4690 runs at 20c idle and about 45 c full load on non oc. sure i read recently that they do an ok job on amd chips but nothing to write home about, although my one is perfectly adequate.

I bought the V3 and it comes with both intel and AMD mounting brackets. Keeps my 4690k at around 30c idle and around 50c under load (BF1).

I've found it great value for money although it is loud when under strain!
