Half marinated bone in chicken, with a sachet of tomatoes, pepper and chilli sauce.

Found this on offer in my local store. It's on offer along with a few other main meals. It's very nice, not too spicy but not bland either. Says it is a Limited Edition. Will be in some stores depending on the store size as my local one doesn't stock every variety of these meals every week.

Better than Asda chicken.
even with the discount its not a deal, its co-op where everything is already 30% dearer, by the way they're a convenience store not a supermarket hence the inflated prices for budget products.

It's normally £4 so is still a deal. They have offers on that can beat some of the supermarkets. They are what I have local to me as I don't have a car to go to supermarkets.
Great deal. I've tried this and can confirm it tastes great too
Heat, good deal op
Will pick 1 up and give it a go cheers
1 third off 1 half chicken? Would have been happier with s third off for 2/3 of a chicken or 1/2 off for half a chicken.
If you look at the coop app there maybe a voucher for 50p off a coop ready meal.... I'm pretty sure would work against this
What's with calling it 'inspired', I noticed that chicken I bought from Asda recently was called 'Chinese inspired'. Do they think people aren't buying it because they think it comes from China or Mexico? Worse still, Chinese/Mexican flavoured as in people flavoured. Saying that, I wouldn't put it past some people...

Oh I have, and I can well imagine this is why they changed to calling the products 'Inspired'.

I'm same boat in that I don't drive and Co-op is my nearest food place. I find the blagged NUS card a godsend with the 10% off. But I agree in general it's pricey.
