Available for Android, iOS and Windows Mobile you can now pick up Copilot premium at a reduced price. The £23.99 version is for all of the EU with maps that can be downloaded and then used without any internet connection (very useful if you are traveling abroad). I have used Copilot often in the EU and it's never let me down, it has loads of features and whilst the likes of Google Maps are very convenient to use Copilot is better if you need to plan more complex routes. I paid £50 for EU version in 2011 so this is good value in my opinion.

For new users I think you'd also get 12mths of traffic updates as well.

twas £24.99. Try Nokia Beta maps on android, dont forget for local areas you can download a smallish map from Google maps to your device.

forget all these navigations use waze app. free for all phones live traffic information and rest.

this app is a nightmare, bought it when it first came out about 2009 i think it was, on 3 different phones kept getting carious errors after working for a few weeks, tried it again last year, then after downloading told me to download a new app for free, then when i got it said i had to pay after 30 day free trial, just avoid.

Tricky to justify when (Nokia) here maps is now free on Android and windows phone.

max 50x50km area from Google maps

Am a Taxi driver and have used all the apps and the free ones. copilot is far far and away the best.

I will disagree,I think it comes to your personal preference. I believe Google map is the best with most up to date traffic updates provided you have unlimited data usage .I have used co-pilot & waze but prefer to use TomTom app more often because of its familiar user interface .

Yep Google maps isn't bad and probably my second favourite and I use it when I can't find a brand new street or housing estate but if you are out in the sticks and lose connection to data, your screwed. I guess you could go through the process of downloading the area before hand but if your using it professionally as a driver then you need the maps installed on your sd card. I haven't got shares in the company but copilot is freaking awesome. Tom Tom is an absolute joke it'd tell me to turn into junctions when I was past them.

Been using it for years, a few glitches every now and then. Does a good job 99% of time. My only frustration is I've moved to Dijon, France and they built a tram line a few years back which copilot doesn't take into consideration. I contacted them and there response was very poor indeed.

usa and canada only 6,99, why so high for uk

Me too. Used in the UK, Italy, Holland and Belgium over many years. Never an issue. For map browsing with data of course I prefer Google. Offline and for navigation this is excellent.

I use it everyday. Awesome app. Offline downloaded maps and live traffic coverage, so far the best navigation app on ios imo

Perhaps something to do with licensing of maps, postcodes etc.. across different countries?

Because we are moronic and will happily pay whatever without question? LOL maybe its becasue we are a little island and the data costs more to ship here across the channel perhaps?
