Nice find @thomasleep

I was really tempted and then realised I have step ladders that probably cost the same that I have rarely used!
Site is still showing £59. Is this only a store price?
Corded 18v ?

how very pedantic

Aye, how dare I question a corded 18v hedge trimmer only for the OP to edit the post soon afterwards.

Note to self - do not question possible errors in deal listings for fear of being labelled pedantic by thomas is sleeping
Tempted, but only because (from a distance) it looks like a sword Sephiroth would wield.

And if you don't know who that is, don't worry about it. It's a gaming reference.
I am venturing Nottingham way today as it happens. Which store, please?
Great price and I'd buy in a blink. But my local only seems to reduce clothes.

2.0Ah battery - probably only going to last 10-15mins tops!

Nonsense!
Aldi reductions are store specific!

Aldi reductions are store specific!

Agreed. Highly unlikely to be this price nationwide as store management are responsible for setting the level of reduction on items that have been lurking in store for some time. If you are lucky enough to find this elsewhere at that price bite their hands off.
Stil £59.99 in my aldi as just been there this morning.
Not in my local Swansea. Still £60
I bought one of these last year. Replaced a qualcast li-ion on from Argos that was poor.

This cuts through privet hedges really and the battery has never run out on me (3 privets hedges in an 18m x 8m garden. Great price even at £59.99 with the warranty.
Disappointed it was full price in mine but went for corded in end: more powerful, longer, thicker cut.
Out of interest. I got a corded version at their Radford Rd Coventry store today, £39.99. They also had the cordless option £29.99. Having purchased a cordless strimmer last year and finding it under-powered I opted for this one.
Just used it, as already stated it's pretty heavy but very effective at trimming back hedges. Seems to have a lot in common with the Einhell GC-HH 9048.
