Tesco seem to have started a big promotion on a wide range of cordless digital home phones. Example is a single Panasonic unit, half price at £19.98 but they had 2,3 and 4 phone versions too and other makes. Worth a good look if you need one of these and please add what you find to the post.

got a twin pack of panasonic phones from them a few weeks back for £34.99 delivered... excellent call quality, orange backlit LCD screen, about 17 hours talk time and 150hours standby or similar - and I ordered it on the saturday evening and had it delivered on monday morning by 9am. Should have been around £60+, I would link to it but they don't have it on the website anymore... they do have the single version though direct.tesco.com/q/R…spx

or the triple version direct.tesco.com/q/R…spx

I think I got the best deal with the twin set though as the single is £19.99 +£5 del or the triple is £79.97+£5 del

Thanks. I rate Panasonic for other electricals so good to hear these are decent too.

Sounds like a similar model though they did have several ranges - I though it included a twin too. Maybe they've shipped them all out to stores if it's an old model? No delivery charge if you buy in store either.

I think they just ran out of stock as it was quite popular... still £60 on amazon

I rate the phone very highly, have only had to charge the handsets once so far, but that only took maybe 1-2 hours from 1 bar (3 is maximum)... and even for the very first charge it only took approx 6 hours. The only negative thing I've found is that you have to program numbers into the handsets individually which can take some time if you have a lot of numbers you like to store... used to have a phillips twin set that "shared" the numbers that were entered into either handset which was great.
Reason I got mine shipped was that it was quicker to get it shipped (local store doesn't carry much in the way of electricals) and also costs approx the same to get it delivered as it would've been to drive to my nearest if you include the time it would've taken etc etc too
