I think this will be a case of your get what you pay for’. Haven’t found co …I think this will be a case of your get what you pay for’. Haven’t found cordless mowers worth the effort yet. Corded or petrol best bet.

I think it comes down to the size of your lawns. I moved from corded to cordless and would never switch back.

I only have two small lawns and can do both in about 10 mins using about half the battery. As its so easy I mow each week so it never gets long.

One thing worth investigating is if you can still buy batteries. I have a Qualcast 36v one (which is still sold at Homebase) and you can't buy replacement batteries (but I can get them refurbished) so would find this out before you buy.

Any good or anything better similar price? After a cordless mower any help would be nice
The greenworks 40v mower would be better, the 24v mower is possibly underpowered.

Have to agree. Most reviews I read said the same. Even the decent ones said the battery didn’t last long enough.... so they seem to be either underpowered, or run out part way through, so I purchased a corded one which is awesome.

Can anyone recommend a good strimmer ?

40v is fine for me. Works well. Easily get 30 mins from one battery
Please don't buy battery powered machine like this . 20 mn and you need to charge whole day
We have the bigger mower and its awesome. I'd definitely go for this!
I have this, sadly it’s underpowered, chews up and cuts out trying to cut on the lowest setting, grass isn’t in any way long at all!
Bought the 40v version off Ideal World some time ago. Went back in under a week. Was totally incapable of cutting grass with any length and if the grass was damp forget it. If you watch the videos of this mower it is shown going over grass that already looks like somebody has been over it with a pair of clippers. I had a petrol mower before but though I would go green, no pun intended, but bought another petrol mower which cuts tall wet grass no problem.

Would definitely pay more for 40v I have the worx battery lawnmower and even at 40v and a decent setting it may cut out 20v lawnmower will struggle to cut long grass that being said my lawnmower ploughs through the grass and I've been impressed with mine
I honestly wouldn't buy anything from Homebase at the minute unless you can wait weeks and weeks for delivery. I juat bought a different lawnmower from them after seeing it on this site and I got an update after buying that their delivery times have changed and now no one knows when their products will be delivered as there's no update. You can't get through to anyone for a refund either.

My Worx fast charge completes a full charge in about 40mins. Granted only a 1.5mah battery, but still. I just have some lunch and then it's ready to go again.
I've a G-tech mower and its good cut once or twice a week ......saying that if you leave your lawn till its jungle length forget it.......
This is the economic version of the Aerotek x1 brand - the main difference is the battery. Aerotek comes with a 40V lithium ion battery that last up to 400square meters before requiring a charge.
I can personally advise that I get about 190 square meters on half a charge so it seems to be accurate.
Also have worx, products find them first class.
Never came across greenworks be for.
I got a Qualcast 24v. It lasts me around 15 -20 mins. It does the job... would never go back to corded or petrol.
Need a bigger battery. Recently bought Lidi cordless lawnmower and chainsaw with 4mah battery for £145
Mower is decent enough.

I have had the 40volt model for 12 months, the one that came with 2 batteries. It is absolutely great. I also use the strimmer which uses the same size battery.
Don’t bother ordering anything from Homebase, they are weeks behind with orders & getting worse....
I have the 40v version, I assume the 24volt isn't as powerful? The 40v is great, but does slow down when grass is damp / long. Dont get me wrong its fine, but if 24v means it's nearly half as powerful, unless your lawn is well maintained it might not be suitable.
Reduced to £129 now. Thanks for the advert 🏻
