Cheapest I5 6600k available right now (despite being used). Should be fully functional, if not 2 year warranty so that should give you some peace of mind. Ideal for those building a budget(-ish) gaming PC.

Not the cheapest it has ever been new but next best is about £215.

While its a good deal i wouldnt recommend CEX unless collecting instore as they deliver it shipped in a basic postage bag with zero protection

woild rather pay the extra 20 to 30 and get a new one

Had so many bad CeX experiences with things being dead on arrival I've stopped using them completely, they don't actually seem to test anything they buy off people.

I've only ever had good experiences in store but sorry to hear that you've had bad experiences from their deliveries in the past.

Yeah I had a lot more luck in their stores, I don't know why delivery was always so bad.

I'm curious why anybody would sell this to cex. Pretty sure it came out less than a year ago so it still has manufacturer warranty right?

The last thing I'd ever buy from CEX.

Not voting hot or cold, but personally its not enough of a saving to go secound hand on a processor. Especially when CEX have sent damaged components out before and you have no idea where it's been, what it has done or why someone has sold such a new processor for so cheap.

Worth a look if you get one of these, worse case scenario you return it I guess.

This is absolutely true. I bought a 3770k a while ago from CEX and it was sent wrapped in normal bubble wrap.

I got a 4770k and g3258 last year both arrived in original box with cpu cooler and are working fine

It's CEX. Do you know how many junkies sell their stolen goods to them.

Used CEX on line must be ten times now. Never had a problem with any of the products i've purchased from them but on two occasions unboxed items have arrived in tight fitting, wafer thin jiffy bags with no other protection at all - only a matter of luck that they weren't damaged. Amazon standard of packaging it most definitely isn't. One of them was a Kobo Aura ebook reader that has a very fragile glass e-ink screen! Despite all that i still use them but only if a particular item is priced at a good discount (say 20% min?) off new.

£187.50 from CEX is worse than £187.50 for CEX.

go to a brothel

Cex... Sounds like sex hahahahaha

People spending money they don't have on it and getting into a panic and selling to recoup finance

I'd rather just buy OEM
I picked up my i7-6700 for just under 200 delivered in March.

You need your own heatsink/fan, but if you've built computers before you either have one already, or you know that stock coolers can be easily beaten by inexpensive ~20 copper-pipe and aluminium fin coolers with some AS5 or MX4.

Anyway for 12.50 more, go OEM. Lots of good sellers on ebay offering this.
