I used the trial to make a dvd out of my holiday video footage. Was quite impressed. The only thing that I didn`t quite like was the dvd menu maker wasn`t as good as Nero Vision.

Excellent program though.

Up until now I've been fine with Movie maker but the XP version doesn't support HDV and the Vista version seems to drop frames all over the place when capturing. I've been looking for alternatives and this looks promising.

vista needs more memory to stop the dropping frame problem.

Ordered one last Thursday night and it turned up Saturday - haven't been allowed to open it yet as it's for my Birthday!! (at least it keeps me feeling young by having presents witheld from me!) In the next couple of days though I shall give it a blast and report back.....

Have always had fun dabbling with movie editing but then getting very frustrated when trying to save to suitable file for burning, hours of waiting and then failing (previously used old version of Pinnacle Studio & Moviemaker) - hopefully this one will provide the rendering/burning ease I'm seeking!!
