I refer you to the original post.
Weather can be very rainy with a lot of thunder storms in March (will be warmer than here though) , there won't be a lot open in way of restaurants, bars etc... (i used to be a holiday rep there)

But a great price for a quiet break away.

Thank you Keeley I am sure that info will help someone xxx
Kassiopi is a fishing village, very picturesque. One of the nicer parts of Corfu. Corfu town is a must ,lots of lovely restaurants there and shops. As I remember the bus services aren't particularly reliable so if you wanted to see the island, car hire is recommended.
heat, any from cardiff, please.

Spent many holidays in kassiopi. It is stunning area. Not sure if much will be open that early but it will still be lovely. Recommend car hire from airport, a fairly easy one hour drive to resort, as it would be a shame not to look around while you are there. Wish we could go again.

does anyone know what the weather is like at that time of year please??
I went in april and it was gorgeous weather, spent every day in the pool, but have heard that march is much cooler, something to do with the mountains.

Must be better than the UK weather in March though?

Of course, but I want to be able to use a pool

Of course, but I want to be able to lounge around the pool and go for a swim when I'm away, which I doubt you'll be able to do unless you get really lucky, or I was unlucky the time I was there.
Hmmm yes please

I'm thinking the same!
Pretty much as above, it'll be relatively quiet around that time of year. We hired a car and got around chunks of the island and into Corfu town. Driving around the hills and coastline can be a bit hairy at times, but you'll soon get used to it and I was glad that we got a hire car for a few days, in the end.
