Corgi Ford Fiesta Mk1 XR2, Diamond White, LHD - Dutch £20.97 delivered @ Corgi
Scale: 1:43
Limited Edition: Yes
This model is supplied with Dutch language packaging and limited edition certificate.
Although referred to as the first global car from Ford, the Fiesta was initially only available in Europe with engines smaller than 1.3 litres.
The car was later fitted with the 1.6-litre 'Kent' engine to create a fun pocket rocket version. The car was lowered by 1 inch to stiffen the suspension and ventilated front disc brakes and low profile Pirelli tires. Sports seats, spoilers, lights and graphics made the XR2 just as good to look at as it was to drive!

eBay has a few listings.
oo and that's a Ford capri above it, that gives me nostalgia of sitting in my dad's car when I was a kid.
fantastic!!
Same here !
Still think you're better buying a second hand motor rather than these leases but I'm sure I'll be called a troll for that.
I remember a friend of mine having this exact white, non-"i" model, back in the day.
I seem to remember the clutch in it bein very, VERY, heavy. Was THE car to have back then ....
(I had to make do with a scabby mk.1 Micra being a poor student)
mate, your friend must have been very small.
The local hoodlums used to charge £50 quid a set round our way
........so, for that reason, I'm out !
They didn't make an XR2i until the Mk3 in 1989 so even a rich student couldn't have a Mk1 XR2i.
Well mine was nearly always and the right (wrong) side of the road as road handling was.........well a bit of a challenge with those 185's on!
I had one in silver and snook in a xr2 engine!
