3258659.jpgThought this was a proper bargain for any couple looking for a short break. Still some dates left for July and a fair few for August and plenty for September onwards. Scores a very high 96% too on users ratings / reviews.
What's Included
  • Overnight accommodation in a Standard Double Room, with full English breakfast and a gin and tonic, plus a tour of the hotel's own gin distillery, for two
  • It's £99 for a 2-night stay, with the extra night on B&B
  • An overnight stay in a Superior Double Room is £65 and a 2-night stay is £111
An Mor offers quirky, stylish accommodation in the centre of Bude, "a breezy seaside town with a bevy of impressive beaches" (Lonely Planet).
The hotel has views of the Atlantic Ocean, and is a few minutes' walk from sandy Summerleaze Beach, where attractions include a play area, a café and a natural saltwater pool, and about a 10-minute walk from The Castle Bude, the former home of Sir Goldsworthy Gurney, inventor of the steam carriage.
Compass Point, a 19th-century lookout tower, is 20 minutes' walk away, while the ancient market town of Stratton takes about 10 minutes to reach by car. Georgian-era Pencarrow House and Gardens is around a 50-minute drive from the hotel.
An Mor's interiors feature funky lighting, colourful British-inspired murals and retro furniture, from plush leather sofas to vintage motorbikes and fairground memorabilia. It has a restaurant and a bar with a beach view, and gin-making classes are offered at its on-site distillery.
Bedrooms are decorated in a simple, contemporary style with neutral tones, wood furnishings and Union Jack-themed cushions. Guestrooms have views of the countryside or the sea -- Superior Rooms are more spacious than Standard Rooms and have the best views.

Believe me, it's really not!
Bude itself is lovely but forget the tunnel.
I don’t know if it’s just my phone being glitchy but seems to be no available dates

edit- yes it’s being glitchy, worked fine on the app

Don't be too impressed by the 'on-site distillery'. It's a very cold room about 8 feet long where they try to talk you into their gin-making classes, at extra expense. 'Tour' only lasted about ten minutes, done by the girl on reception, which we were quite glad of anyway because it was freezing in there.

You shouldn't give kids gin.

Nice of you to put the " Distillery " into prospective. Will take the disappointment away from some people on arrival after a long journey.
Not a fan of Bude myself, but very good price...heat added.

Lucky you, it's lovely down there.
I can’t seem to book 2 nights? Tried both website and app, if I pick two dates it just says 1 night...

Wow. That article well made me chuckle ...thanks for the laughs!
I just went to Bude for a week last month & absolutely loved it, make sure you drive down to Tintagel for the day!
Bude is amazing. The sunniest place in the UK! Spoilt for choice with beaches in the area.
