I've bought a fair bit of this range from this website, great value, solid pine. Not too tricky to build yourself either. Delivery within 10 days & always found the company reliable, even when there's been a problem.

This item is the Corona 3 door 2 drawer sideboard with Mexican rustic antique pine finish. With 2 drawers, constructed with traditional dovetail joints, and a 3 door cupboard with internal shelf.

Dimensions in mm: 1320 (w) * 435 (d) * 806 (h)

Orders below £250 incur a £15 handling charge.

My last order was the sideboard at £119 plus

2 lamp tables @ £39.99 each
house2ahome.co.uk/cor…tml

and the coffee table @ £58.99
house2ahome.co.uk/cor…tml

Why have veneer when you can have solid wood?

Full range including bedroom items:

Not everybody wants a studio account though.....

Hot, good solid wood much better value than than the chipboard rubbish you get. The large sideboard seems good value too.

I'm afraid to say that whilst checking something out, I've found it even cheaper elsewhere. Do I edit the original post, just post it here in reply or make a new thread???

Edit: ah false alarm, the delivery charges would make it dearer. Was about to curse paying £30 more when in fact it worked out £20 cheaper because of the free postage when I ordered.

Same sideboard £127 delivered:
http://www.lowestpricefound.co.uk/Corona-Medium-Sideboard-p/core049%20cr916.htm?CartID=1

BUT as most people get matching furniture... the original post is cheaper if spending over £250.

The 4 items I bought were £257.97 at house2ahome, whereas buying them at lowestpricefound would incur £52 delivery to cost £275. Just to clarify all that.

Besides, I know I can trust house2ahome... not sure about the other company.

You're a cheerful soul. I'd say £134 is still a very good price, from a company that can be trusted.
Had you heard of "lowestpricedfound"? Because I hadn't until earlier.

never heard of your place either so makes no odds to me

I have this and its great still like new 5 years later...but i paid double this price

You can pick them up on ebay for under £130, great quality furniture

Looks like a nice piece and for a great price. Personally i have always found pine a little soft as it shows every dink & dent, hardwood is always nice but then again you pay 3-4times the price, so not really fair to compare.

Heated.

Looks very similar to the Puerto Rico collections from Argos.

Anyone dealt with this seller before?

Why would you deliberately insult anyone who has/will buy this with your pretentious comment?

not needed but heat added ,as someone might need this .

honestly lol - I have similar stuff in my bedroom and it doesn't look cheap at all. I also have the coffee table in my conservatory. Good sturdy basic stuff that'll last ages if you look after it. Use wax on mine to protect it from spills. We all have different budgets to stick to and at this price point you'd be hard pushed to do better.

For anyone who lives in the NW they'd be better off trying furniturebargainstogo, there's five stores.

In the interest of honesty I'll tell you I work there, but I'm leaving in two weeks so my loyalty shouldn't be an issue, & they're also cheaper than this for pine furniture & have incredibly cheap oak & ash furniture too, cheaper than the equivalents here.

The website hasn't been updated for ages unfortunately & you can't order online, so you'd need to pop in to the shops, so obv for many this is a great option if that isn't possible.

I had the coffee table but from argos, didnt bother with the black studs and looked great... made the mistake of not varnishing it when I had 2 very small children though.

I'd agree with that.
I bought 2 bedside cabinets in this Corona style (it seems to be all from a single supplier through a myriad of different outlets).

Anyways, until they were given a light sanding & a 4 or 5 decent satin varnish coats they really looked quite unfinished & certain to mark up badly.
They were cheap as chips though (local discount retailer £39 each) & with a couple of days work they looked really great, well worth it & pretty solid construction.
Easy to put together too.
I'm sure they'll last forever too, good solid wooden construction (so weight may be an issue when building them, you won't want to moving them on your own or if you're not up to lifting much weight).

Contrary to several of the replies before mine, this is not solid wood. Far from it.

I've a pc desk, coffee table and side tables in this Corona range. If you've got kids or are a bit heavy handed, I would not buy these.

Its not made from solid wood, well mine are, strange

It's soft wood which is cheaper then hard woods like oak.

looks lovely - thanks

i've got the bookcase to this which i need to sell ha ha so best not buy any more furniture to match it.

Your oak is probably venneer!
Yes pine is a soft wood.
Yes they are solid.
Give it a couple of coats of danish oil.
Much better than chipboard furniture from the likes of Argos, and probably cheaper!

i love this stuff ,i have it ,but the price doesn't seem that special compared to when i bought it ages ago.
