Hotter than a really really hot thing. Top stuff.

Lets watch this race to the front page!!

I'm absolutely staggered that it appeared again below £57. £45 is just a nuts price for this ram (well, any 2GB matched pair, let alone stuff this good).

thats a £10 drop in less then 2 weeks. wonder if it will drop further??

last couple of sales of this stuff on ebay has been at £75 delivered!

flex - i wouldn't hang about to find out...

CRAZY price!!!! Voted hot and repped as well deserved!

FANTASTIC!! Bought 1 :-)
Got 2 separate 512MB modules a month or so ago for the same price (and they were used) !!
Rep Given !

gone for this, cheers

is the 800MHZ stuff worth the extra £25 over these?

Showing £45.20 for me

oops...just wiki'd it and found the answer

"Faster DDR2 DIMMs though are compatible with slower DDR2 DIMMs. The memory would just run at the slower speed. Slower DDR2 memory are not compatible with faster memory.

IE. You can put a PC2-6400 module in a PC2-4200 compatible system, but you cannot put a PC2-4200 module in a PC2-6400 system."

purchase with google checkout to get the tenner off

whats the difference between this cheap stuff and the 2gig £200 to £300 stuff, thx

the old ddr cost twice as much as this

still puzzels me this :

I've bought these because it's too much of a bargain to pass up. I'm planning on upgrading soon so these will go well. Will I be able to use them in my current setup though in the meantime? My current (socket 939) mobo only takes DDR1 RAM. Will I be able to use it at the lower speed or is RAM not backwards compatible at all?

this is crazy pricing, voted hot hot hot

Hiya,

no

kaprikawn - sorry, no joy with s939 & ddr1, its a different size slot and format altogether. don't worry though, if it arrives its easily worth £60 and will still be a bargain in a few months when you come to upgrade. It compares pretty well with even the fastest DDR2, has excellent compatability and warranty and will be ready for when you upgrade to Socket 775 or AM2.

'fraid not, won't fit in a laptop, you need SODIMMS, this will do the job for £22.68 delivered per gig:

ordered.now all i need is a graphics card like the ati x1600 to come up then i can complete my build

F**** N Hot!!!!!

couldn't resist that price! thanks OP

Shesh, two weeks ago I paid twice that 2x1gb 6400.

Would see better performance from Vista spending £70 on two sets of these.

Very tempted to buy this and take my PC to 4GB of Ram

www.crucial.com to check what sort of RAM ur sytems got.

I assume this is OK to run in the recent E520 Dell deal.

I have already got 2GB in mine and another 2GB will make 4GB. Which is the max for Windows Vista Home 32 bit OS.

Thanx Charlie12, just purchased that.

Rep added.

Ooooo this google check out is a bit easy I feel spending coming on...u o !!

you have got to be careful with running around 4GB, although 32bit can support it, alot of system only see around 3- 3.25 gb of 4gb ... im not too sure why (i think its hardware limitations) but theres alot of topics on it, do a search on it

Great, now hopefully I can cancel my other RAM order before it is too late as this deal blows it out of the water!

4gb coming my way, at this price it is cheaper than 3gb of other stuff!!!

just bought some too. was tempted with 800MHZ geil but this is a far better deal for probably better memory
awesome post

Absolutely amazing price!

Wont work in my pc....yet
At that price how could i refuse

err WTF :?
that is an amazing price.

Voted Hot Cheers

Ordered :-D

All gone - awwwwww :-(

Wow! I must've got one of the last ones!

damnit...I just saw it 5min ago, had 45 in stock!

Damn, managed to order one, but was wanting another to make 4GB. Won't complain though, one set at £35 is amazing! Thanks OP.

It takes a while for the system to allocate stock to orders, so most of that 45 was already sold when you saw it!

One or two may show up again from cancelled orders, failed payments, etc

Luckily my status shows 'Payment taken' for both orders and Goods Allocated so hopefully I will be getting the RAM :-D

Same here, ordered 2gb and was waiting a wee while before putting my order for the 2nd lot, 43 in stock and then none ... should have pressed the button.
Thanks to the OP, voted hot.
