256-bit hardware encryption and a durable rubber housing for secure

transport of confidential information

Corsair Flash Padlock 2 is designed for confidential and sensitive

information. Your files are protected from snooping with 256-bit AES

hardware encryption, and the durable rubber housing helps protect them

from the elements, too. An easy-to-use, integrated PIN pad means no

software is needed, so Padlock works equally well with Microsoft Windows,

Mac OSX, and even Linux-based systems.

Compatibility

- Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me,

- Mac OS X v9.x and above,

- Linux Kernel 2.4.2 and higher

- Plug-n-Play compatible via USB 1.1 or 2.0 port

Key Features

- Secure 256-bit hardware AES encryption

- User customisable 4-10 digit personal identification number to lock

and unlock

- Built-in hacking detection locks device for 2 minutes after 5 failed

attempts

- Durable rubber, shock-proof housing

Prices are always high for Corsair usb flash drives but heat added. I have already 2GB flash drive amd it is still working perfectly from last 12 years.
On the other hand I used to have a non-padlock version of this. Only pen drive I've had that needed a firmware update. The other ones we had in the office failed before we got them flashed.
Unless Im missing something here 18 quid for a refurbished 32gb USB 2 drive is one of the crappest deals I've EVER seen on here

Is it? Find a better deal that isn't from a no name company. Even just finding any from a no name company with 256bit hardware encryption and 32gb will be hard enough.

Wot he said!
These aren't very reliable. Had my one replaced twice. Went back to use it after a couple of years and it isn't working whereas my cheaper brand USBs are working fine!
