What's the difference? You can see through either of them

The plastic bends, the reflections are worse, scratches easily.

Amazon usually price match if the product remains in stock.
Spend a bit more and get a glass panel, makes such a difference
Talked to Amazon Customer service and they won't price match. Is there a way to get them to lower their price?

A case is the missing piece from my new build - I was looking at the bitfenix Neos for £28 - any reason this is worth £10 more?
Good if it wasn't for the fact it's sold by e-byre

Maybe also try this?

The option doesnt show up on all items so might be worth a punt?

Maybe set alerts up on Keepa & 3camels in case they do lower the price later?

The acrylic version does not have a top filter or rubber grommets, i had to odere these bits off corsair, and by the time i got these i could have had the glass version for the same money.

But won't break into a billion pieces.
Good case. Very good price. Iffy seller. Glass is overrated and dangerous anyway. Heat for this deal. One thing to consider: This case does not have the strongest airflow though it's not the worst either.

It's a shame, I was about to get one when I see price is much more.
Why does everyone say amazon price matches? I have been using amazon for eons and never have I ever heard of amazon price matching. They won’t even price match their own prices. If the same product reduced in price next day they won’t refund the difference. But you can however buy the same thing at lower price and return the more expensive one. Some times it is free return postage especially within the first month.
This case doesn’t have mesh front. Not sure how it performs in terms of air flow. Probably not well.

As an owner of cheap case with plastic panel. Spend a bit extra on a case and go glass

Acrylic gets scratched way too easily. It’s not a good option for the long term.

That's what I have and it's a lovely case
You could go for the xigmatek Scorpio. It costs around £25 and has tempered glass at the front and left side. It’s incredibly good for the price. Also it’s really easy to build inside.

Never had a problem with mine overheating and it's surrounded in my desk with only a few inches above the tower. If you get this you might want to buy the magnetic vent that goes on top otherwise it looks a bit weird.
I have the tempered glass version of this case on my build. It's exellent -- feels really solid and premium. This is probably in part due to the tempered glass giving it a really sturdy feel, but I'd expect acrylic version to be decent too.

There is room for a radiator in the front (I have a Corsair H115i). The airflow to the radiator is OK, but could be better -- I'm sure some minor modifications to the front cover would improve this (perhaps dremelling away some of the plastic inside the front panel cover). For reference, I'm running a 9900K overclocked to 5GHz (turbo) and a MSI RTX 2080 Ventus. Under full load (pegged at 100% on all cores) my CPU temps hit around 80c (though this is without any attempt at undervolting, and is with the standard themral paste that comes with the H115i), and GPU temps are well within spec.

Cable management is great, there's plenty of space to tuck away cables and the matt black finish looks really premium. The included fans are OK -- slightly noisy, and can make the case vibrate a little but due to resonance. Resting the computer on a rubber mat or replacing the fans would probably help with this, but I've not bothered (yet).

As for tempered glass vs acrylic -- I'd personally always go for tempered glass. It feels far studier, is far more scratch resistant, and dampens sound more effectively. There's a higher risk of it smashing, but in my experience it's pretty strong (I've had the side panel slip from vertical to horizontal with no issues), and if it did break then it's tempered so wouldn't shatter like a normal window pane anyway (more like a car window).

If you're on a budget, then I doubt you can get a better case than this for the money. You might even be able to swap to tempered glass side panel down the line, assuming the fittings are the same: corsair.com/uk/…206

A very very good alternative to this is the Kolink Stronghold - in white or black.
Fantastic quality

Acrylic scratches. I have acrylic and it doesn't look as nice as glass after a while and glass is obviously more premium looking. But at this budget this is what you would want

If you just want it to function the bitfenix one will do the job well. If you want someone more better looking aesthetically then this is great at even a 50£ budget

Thanks for the advice - I've actually just picked up an Ex-Display Phanteks P400 from Overclockers for £43 which I thought was an absolute bargain all things considered

Holy crap that's a great price. Actually jealous because I was looking for a good price. Definitely a great deal even at £55-60.

They've still got a white P400 for £50 - I went down to try and get a few ex-display bits and they said they had a P400S (no window) for £43. I said yep sounds good, paid for it and then it turned out they couldn't find it - the guy was like we have this if you'd like it instead (the P400 glass case) for the same price!

I'm building a PC for work at the mo - budget is a strict £500 but between sales and CCL's eBay page I've built a mega machine for the budget! Ryzen 5 1600 AF, 16gb RAM, Asrock K4, 1650 Super, Phanteks P400, be quiet! 600W, Intel 660p NVMe

Solid price! You have a good PSU so upgrades shouldn't be a problem. I'm lucky to have a nice pc but I'm at a point where im wondering if I really need so much power as I mostly play overwatch and csgo. Even though I play at 1440p 144hz something like you're pc would actually be more than enough for me!
